The purist helmet provides brand name safety and good construction which should be considered by any cricketer wishing to buy a new helmet. The helmet comes in limited colours, but this applies to most helmets on the market, so should not be criticised too much.

The helmet is reasonably light, but suffers from some poor weight distribution, which makes the helmet tip forwards while wearing it. This could be adjusted if the inner pads were more flexible, but unfortunately the pads are... (read more)
