    Good Points: Friendly, personal service. Very professional and a high standard of work.


    Bad Points: Towards the expensive side of the scale - but the result is worth every penny.


    General comments: Bought an engagement ring in the USA which was an odd shape (cluster of diamonds on an eliptical base which was of differing proportions). Took it to Harveys and he made the wedding ring. Not only did it match the shape, but it also 'locks' into the engagement ring when the correct sides are lined up. He also made my Gents wedding ring which is so smoothly finished it is hard to feel I am wearing it. We now go there for all our jewellery requirements.

    Harveys are based on the ground floor of Middleton shopping centre, and they have been there as far as I can remember.

    Most of the jewellery is hand made, so the selections can be limited due to the quality of goods in store.

    Staff are good and will spend a lot of time to make sure the item is the right one.

    Free gift wrapping is available, and it is always a pleasure to shop there.
