    Good Points: none

    Bad Points: just about everything.

General comments: i think this Clairol Born Blonde is awful, my hair is naturally light blonde but i dyed it a light brown a few months ago, my roots were coming back and decided to strip the colour from my hair using this product, my hair turned a un imagionable orange colour, went very brittle and started coming out in clumps. i did everything it said on the packet, left it no longer than a hour and did a strand test also. as i did it on a saturday night i couldnt ring up the number given until monday and as my hair was in such a shocking state no hairdresser will touch it . thanks Clairol.

I had high lights on my dark brown hair. I wanted to become all blond. The hair dresser turn my hair in strange combination of orange and ash. Then I decided to do it by myself. My hair is very long, so I got 4 bottles of Born Blonde lightener, 8 packages of the powder and 16 0z. Clairol Professional Developer .I mixed everything together following the directions. I applied that mix on my hair for 20 min or even less. For that I used a brush and gloves. Most of it I applied it as shampoo. After 1 ...

Clairol Born Blonde is not too harsh on the hairGets rid of even permanent black hair dye. Very briefly, I had had black hair for nearly 2 years, dyed with a permanent black dye, and after being told by hairdressers that lightening it would not be possible, looked up some reviews online for this product, and decided to do it myself. I used a l'oreal prelightener to start with, which wasn't enough, but then ended up using in total 3 packs of the clairol prelightener, 2 in the first session, and ...

Clairol Born Blonde. I did the strand test and after 90 minutes, the hair turned blonde. I applied Born Blonde and after 90 minutes washed it out of my medium brown hair. Much to my surprise, my hair was highlighter orange. The strand test did not indicate this, so it is pointless. I am very disappointed in this product.

This is so good! the colour is such a lovely tone, takes the bleached bright yellow straight out. Amazing colour, even when my natural brown went bright yellow, the toner made it amazing! I love it.

Clairol Born Blonde hair color is a great product if you need to correct a bad bleach or single-process blonde. I've used this many times to tone/correct brassy or fading blonde color, without causing damage. It actually conditions and improves the hair while you wait to do a more permanent correction. And if you bleach or frost, you can tone the hair to a cool, natural shade - without exposing your hair and scalp to more peroxide and ammonia. If you want to change the shade, you just wait 6 to ...
