Good Points: The astra is a nice car to look at especially on the inside, very uptodate and modern. MP3 port for the ipod, automatic lights and wipers are always a bonus. drive is responsive in handling terms although no where near as good as a golf or focus.

Bad Points: For the money very little is provided. Externally the only difference between the bottom of range life model is a metalic strip on windows and alloys. Very uncomfortable if you use daily doing a lot of miles. 1.7 cdti worst engien i have ever used.

General comments: Very average car, not sutible for daily motorway use due to poor engine and comfort. Internaly very nice, big difference from cheaper models, Externaly rather poor (go for the sxi/sri). This is a company car, i did have a choice and made the wrong one. I would never pay this kind of money for a car of this standard. No compitition for th VW golf or Ford focus.

With each update eg MY2007 - 2008 vauxhall remove features. Like the trip computer, leather gets downgraded to vinyl etc. So when purchasing a new one check exactly what you are getting very carefully!

CD MP3 player with full ID3 tag support, this means you can burn CD's from your PC and if the name etc is encoded on the MP3 the in car display panel will show the name of the song. O ...
