Good Points: The duvide dG feels like a good quality made jump rope which has a nice grip on the wrapped handles. It looks like all parts which are usually wearing off on a jump rope are strong, e.g. the middle section of the rope and the bearings. Jumping is very smooth and it has a very good command. I like the possibility to add weight to the handles and the rope itself with some included lead and metal pins. I like the little feature that you can grease the bearing by taking out a small set screw. The stainless steel screws add to the high quality touch of the rope.
Bad Points: There are no real bad points in my opinion. A little bit of a problem can cause the first time when one has to cut the hose to the right length, doing this, one has to be careful and it takes a couple of minutes. But once it is done, one don't need to bother about it again.
General comments: I think this is a very well made jump rope for personal use because it has to be cut to the jumpers length. It gives a lot of freedom regarding the weight and it allows any conceivable jumping technique although one has to get used to the right angle bearing of the rope. But once that is done it is possible to spin the rope by using the shoulders rather then the wrists.
