I bought the Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance straighteners for £120 and to be honest I don't think they are that good. I suppose theyr'e ok if you hair is mostly straight anyway, but i have very wavy, frizzy hair and didn't think they worked that good.

The good points about the Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance are that it is stylish, sleek, slim and light. It also has the longer plates which come in useful, and the quality is brilliant. I also got mine half price from Argos.
The bad points are I thought that my hair wouldn't get this damaged if i spent this much money but it still seems to. I use heat defence sprays and all sorts. Because of this reason i think i might be upgrading to some GHD's which i hope will keep my hair in good condition.
In my opinion you will be better off spending that bit of extra cash to get some GHD's or maybe others.

My first set just stopped working after a year, but I liked them, so bought another set, which stopped working after just 3 weeks. The problem seems to be in the switch, which is quite fiddly.
good value, but always seen to be on special offer, which makes me think I'm not the only one to experience the problem with them just suddenly breaking.
