I bought these straighteners today and so far I am happy with them. They look nice and sleek, the bag that comes with it is lovely. The irons slide through my hair so smoothly and leave my hair incredible smoothe and shiny. The fully rotatable cord makes I so easy to use. The only down point is when you go out into humid weather my hair starts to frizz.not good. But apart from that they are a great priced good pair of straighteners. :)

Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance is ok, but I didnt get the result I would hope for. I am getting some GHD's soon as I know they are very good and will not be taking any risks of wasting my money(like I did on this)

Very good! Though if I go out into the cold straight after straightening, it unstraightens (goes wavy, flicky) does not give that nice shine. Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance straightens really quickly, heats up quickly, gorgeous appearance!

Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance are so good!
Seriously if you are considering spending a fortune on GHDs, don't!
I usually use my mum's GHDs because my straighteners were broken and these straighteners make my hair just as straight and actually smoother than with GHDs. They are also excellent for curling, you don't have to have your hair poker straight!
They also come with a stylish bag and clips for dividing your hair! I got them at half price and they are so worth the money, don't bother forking ou ...

I bought the Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance straighteners for £120 and to be honest I don't think they are that good. I suppose theyr'e ok if you hair is mostly straight anyway, but i have very wavy, frizzy hair and didn't think they worked that good.

I was really happy with these straighteners. Friends GHDs leave hair no straighter and I know others feel they are very expensive. GHD's are overrated!!!! Great straighteners, reasonable price, look good and come with a heat protecting mat, clips and carry purse. A great buy 10/10

I had the same dilemma that most people seem to have on here: should I fork out for GHDs or are other straighteners just as good? Well I'm really glad I bought the babylis ones instead of the GHDs. I straightened my hair with my sister's GHDs last week and got just as good results today with my new Babylis ones. I have really thick and frizzy hair and it made it really straight and smooth. They go up to 23o degrees just like the GHDs and both are ceramic. I really don't thing the GHDs are worth ...

I think the babyliss pro 230 elegance are the perfect 1st straighteners. They keep your hair healthy and make it look great. Plus for beginners the long plates help to make straightening. I'm very happy. My good points are:
    It looks great
    It straightens great
    extra long plates are great
heat mat is great (and stylish!!)
    price was great!!!

These Babyliss straighteners are really good there just as good as ghds but they dont wreck your hair the gold plates make your hair shiny and frizz free and they heat up super fast, the heat proof mat is great and the storage bag is great.

I, like many people wanted a pair of GHD's but they were too pricey. I found the pro elegance on line and read reviews on them. I was worried about the negative comments but decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did! The longer plates make styling much quicker and they heat up very quickly and leave my hair really soft and perfectly straight. I would certainly recommend them to anybody searching for new straighteners.

The good points about the Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance are that it is stylish, sleek, slim and light. It also has the longer plates which come in useful, and the quality is brilliant. I also got mine half price from Argos.

The bad points are I thought that my hair wouldn't get this damaged if i spent this much money but it still seems to. I use heat defence sprays and all sorts. Because of this reason i think i might be upgrading to some GHD's which i hope will keep my hair in good condition.

I bought these straighteners for half price which i thought was a bargain as the original cost was nearly 80 quid. However, after a few goes my hair started getting stuck and this has resulted in it snapping so i'm planning to take mine back, worst straighteners ive ever had

Bought the Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance after careful consideration and thorough research and am glad i did! I was ready to buy the GHDS but i thought these are 75 quid must be just as good to be that expensive, and they are, only i bought them half price! A bargain! I have thick wavy hair and it takes me about 15 minutes max and i have poker straight hair!
