Good Points: Stayed at end of October 2008. Great location in central london - short walk from Holborn tube station and just by Covent Garden/Oxford Street/British Museum
Bad Points: Shockingly shabby for what could be a flagship hotel for the company. Take earplugs as the windows are not double glazed and it is noisy all night. We stayed in a family room on the 7th floor - on arrival there were only 2 towels and no sheets for the beds - had to ask 3 times for sheets which was irritating after travelling when we were tired and just wanted to go to bed. Shower curtain was grubby as were the carpets and sofa - all rather tired and sad.
General comments: This could be a really good budget hotel in a great location. Unfortunately the company has failed to spend money on it and it is tired, shabby and the restaurant area is badly ventilated. Even if you are only using it as a room to sleep in, as we were, it is unwelcoming and depressing.
