I recently bought a copy of Jamie At Home as a gift for a family member and have to say it's a great book. An accompaniment to the recent TV series (also fantastic), this book guides you through no nonsense cooking with emphasis on using simple, home grown ingredients. There's some great tips on sourcing/growing your own stuff here, however it's also a really good read even if you're not rushing out to dig the veg patch just yet as the recipes are scrumptious and well worth trying. Spicy Pork Goulash? Mmmm yes please! With a bit of luck there'll be a copy in my Christmas stocking...
