well, ive had it for 4 months and the brakes are bad my back one broke, the grips are not that nice, the sprocket is to big if you are at a skate park most of the time so i got a mini sprocket the stems ok the wheels are ok THE PEDDALS THERE METAL, ive got rid of my peddals there to heavy the pegs are slipery when wet. The seat isnt a proper bmx seat its more like a mountain bike seat. im getting eastern plastic white peddals, kink omega grips with bar ends, GT wing black seat 2010, exposure... (read more)

The GT Vertigo is a real good bike, cool patterns and looks great i think the only down fall is the pegs they have no grip so if they get wet you could slip a bit, not much though. (read more)

Would not recommend to a friend, had my GT Vertigo a few months and my hub had broken. No heavy use.
Buckled back wheel very easily but due to own cause.
Also my sprocket nut (which holds the sprocket to the crank arm) is welded, treed bought a 9t driver and 25t sprocket but could not fit to the bike so had to be replaced with standard 12t driver.
Overall if i would have known the problems from the start i would have definitely spent more on a more expensive/reliable bmx bike.

my GT Vertigo has been clocked at 45 mph thi first time a got it out and it wasn't down hill it was in a straight line the vertigo is a good bike a got new parts for it but slowd it down so thi bike is all stock it is the best one av had so far n would sujest it 2 eny one looking for a bmx the paint job could be better but am getin a respray so am sorted . ive had this GT Vertigo bike for 2 years it is strong and quite reliable i also have a specialized hardrock sport 08 and p2 09 but the vertigo is still twice as crazy as either of these (read more)

Got this GT Vertigo bike today and already done over 15 miles on it. Met a few dirt ramps and a half pipe on the way among a few other jumps and it handles fantastically. (read more)

WOW what a detailed review! So ur crank got bent... Maybe... ummm... Lose a few stone. I have had this problem with a few bikes. I always replace a crank ASAP with a better one. Just Incase. I had a GT dyno before this bike and had it for over 4 years with no problems. (although it was a bit heavy)

the gt vertigo coud most be the worst bike ever I hate it pegs heavy,sprocet cbig seat fat (like mountain bike),breakes terribal gt air very good get it itz perfect
