We have been dining at Mario's since it opened on Yorkshire Street. We have brought our kids, grandkids and friends. Its always spot on for food and service. Long may it continue. (read more)

Nice atmosphere,diners are made to feel welcome. Pleasant restaurant area, not too crowded but still intimate and cosy. A nicely presented standard range of Italian dishes with some delightful surprise dishes; desserts good, House wine is fine and good value.
A night at Marios is always fun. Start early on Saturday and get a happy hour deal. I have booked it for special occasions and also just for eating and always come out pleased.

Mario's has the feel and tastes of the typical Italian tratorria in downtown Oldham. The food and wines are of fantastic quality and super value for money.
Many so called restaurants these days just warm up ready meals, might as well buy from Asda! Not at Mario's, all food is freshly cooked on the premises, you can see the chef's working in the kitchen.
Authentic, cheerful absolutely the best place around. (read more)

Mario's Trattoria & Pizzeria, Oldham does the best pizza in manchester!!!!!. Great restaurant nice staff ....but the pizza is superb! They bake the bread daily very nice.

Both the food and atomsphere were terrific! Authentic Italian Cuisine at its BEST! Through dining at Mario's Trattoria over the years we have come to realize and accept that true Italian restaurants are almost extinct and that Mario's Trattoria is one of the select few restaurants that exist in our area in which continues to offer REAL Italian food. Mario's Trattoria & Pizzera in Oldham, must be one of the very few restaurants in the Greater Manchester area that feels like you've just stepped off the street in an Italian holiday resort. The food is not only extremely good, it's also authentic (my wife's half Italian). Perfect if you want a chilled night out in a relaxed cosy atmosphere and great food. Beautiful relaxed, yet professional atmosphere combined with great food and good service! The only downside is that the tables are fairly close together and due to the popularity of this restaurant customers are occasionally squashed fairly close together. (read more)

Mario's Trattoria & Pizzeria is a great little restaurant in the centre of Oldham. The staff, most of them Italian, are friendly and you are made to feel very welcome. The food is great and some of the starters are very nice and different from what you get in other places. But the main courses are also a delight. Ranging from a la carte dishes, pasta's and pizza's there's something for everyone. Good selection of wine too.
