    Good Points: Eleana's apartments are central and at a good location for restaurants, supermarket and beach.


    General comments: A complete getaway from it all holiday. A wonderful host. We received a very warm welcome by her. She makes wonderful homemade cakes, jams, and together with her husband's goat and chickens produces cheese, milk and eggs. Ireon town itself is completely Greek which is the experience we came for. Very peaceful, quiet, tranquil and restful. No crowds, wonderful! A great place to rest and relax. There are many seaview restaurants to choose from and the food is good, Greek food plain and simple! The apartment was perfect, clean and central. The only noise which came as a shock around 6.30am the aeroplanes fly over and the locals are off to work. They never seem to get out of 2nd gear! a lot of revving but this only lasted an hour or so! plenty of time to catch up on your sleep on the beach!
    This all added to the attraction of Ireon, Samos.
