Excellent clean hotel with theamed rooms and a beautiful view over the atlantic with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas.However to see the beauty of Sicily you really need a car as the transport links are not good didnt see any local bus stops and the railway station was aprox 2miles away along a busy unlit road. The hotel and flights were excellent, but the quality of the food (hot meals) in the Hotel were certainly not ****. There was a lot of work going on around the pool area while we were there, so this cut down on the amount of sunbeds and umbrellas available to the guests. We stayed in Andalucía in a quiet Spanish Resort Islantilla with miles of sandy beaches. The Azur Hotel was great with friendly staff. However Fleetway had organised car hire for us to collect our car at Faro Airport. This was a disaster with Goldcar Car Rental who totally refused to recognise the insurance we had paid saying the British Company had lied to us and this was only a tax. Booking with Fleetway was easy and trouble free. The flights were good and the accommodation was great for the price we paid. The only slight negative (and it is very slight) was that we had to print off rather a lot of paperwork which took an age! Fleetway sent all the appropriate documents and instructions in good time so there was no stressing about transfers or baggage en route. Ryan Air is a rubbish airline with no seat allocation (deriving in a free-for-all and chaos on boarding) and a strict rule on 1 cabin bag per person or pay extra for luggage in the hold. The seats don't recline one but and of course you have to pay for any food/drink ordered on board This of course wasn't the travel agent's fault - but I would try and avoid... (read more)

We had a great time at the Brisa Sol apartments, Albufeira, Portugal. The apartment was large and clean with everything you needed for a self catering holiday. There was quite a bit of traffic noise from the road and a "howling" wind every night but it didnt spoil the holiday. We ate in the hotel's restaurant one evening and the food, service and value for money was excellent. The Iberostar Mirabello in Crete is a beautiful hotel with fantastic views of the bay. The staff are welcoming and informative. We requested a sea view room (bit tongue in cheek) and they obliged. Although mainly for families, as a couple without children there is a quiet pool area exclusive to adults only and you cannot hear the kids. Entertainment not aimed at adults, great for kids. Although only one restaurant after 8pm is better if no kids. Everywhere clean and staff friendly especially on your last day (tips). My only criticism was the outward bound flight on the SAturday evening as the airline had changed the flight times twice prior to the departure date - then on the day changed it twice again so that in the end flight was delayed by five hours and no announcements at Gatwick airport. we only have one complaint, for some reason the bus driver who took us to the hotel on arrival, went the very long way round and an half an hour trip too two hours, when you need the toilet and there is no toilet on the bus, this caused my husband great difficulty. We stayed at Jardin Dorado on Gran Canaria. Its a smaller hotel with no 'organised entertainment', and was peaceful, quiet and relaxed. The small size means a friendly community atmosphere. The children got to know others quickly and didnt have to search for them in a crowd. We particularly liked the way they all played together in the evenings regardless of age and very small children were able to happily wander amongst tables knowing they were amongst friends. However deposits for beach towels 15 euros television controller another deposit, crazy golf 30 and rings for lazy river another deposit. Main issue was that you were expected to keep the same beach towel all week, or to change 1 euro for each towel. This was an impulse holiday and Fleetway had been recommended by a friend. I did look at Fleetway online then compared it with other sites. Fleetway did offer a very good option. The hotel chosen was ideal for our holiday. Our only problem had been check-in at Palma where because Easyjet is so busy we should have been at check-in more than 2 hours before the time. (read more)

It's the second time I've used Fleetway, once to Greece and now to Egypt. I've found them nothing short of brilliant. Both hotels were amazing so well done Fleetway for finding these gems. I made the mistake of booking with someone else on my last holiday and got stung at the airport for hold luggage. Never again. We had a fantastic room very large by comparison to most hotels room needed a little TLC in the bathroom apart from that no problem. Our customer relations guy Nazar was exceptional every hotel could use a Nazar. Location was a bit remote therefor you are limited to where you eat food was quite expensive by UK standards. Two ladies of a certain age let loose in Venice. Magical city, flight and transfers fine. Hotel adequate but no view as the shutters on the windows were permanently locked which was rather disappointing. Although we booked a twin room the first room we were given was on the top floor (no lift) and had a bed made up as a double so our first job was to get the bed split into two singles. The layout is different to the usual sort of hotel of this class - not the usual boring infinity pool but one you can swim from one side to the other as in a swimming pool, though it is pretty at the sides.
