“Relaxing luxurious break.”

Written on: 06/03/2015

Hotel fantastic. Although the room was the lowest grade, it was wonderful, with two T.V.s, a comfortable lounge area, superb tea making facilities, lovely bathroom with good toiletries and storage, with an iron and board, and top of the range hair dryer. A flight down was a wonderful spa. Enjoyed using the gym, pool, sauna, steam room, and the best jacuzzi ever. The lounge overlooking the castle and sea front was another great place to relax. The breakfast and service was faultless too. The… Read Full Review

“Iceland in late Feb”

Written on: 06/03/2015 by TeaganMcDonald125 (1 review written)

Loved the Icelandic people. The snow was heavy in the air on landing and sadly the weather did remain an issue throughout trip. So excursions kept getting cancelled due to poor visibility and bad weather. Reykjavik is a beautiful city, people fantastic. Out hotel was good, room clean and well presented, food good, well within walking distance of the town, even in the snow. Towards the end of our 4 night stay we finally saw the Northern Lights, did Whale watching (only saw dolphins and… Read Full Review

“Trip to Iceland”

Written on: 06/03/2015

Flew from Bristol with Easy jet and could not have been better. Hotel about 15 minutes walk from Reykjavik centre, could not be easier. Went on day coach trip on mini bus with great guide and only 14 others around the Golden Circle. Iceland the most beautiful experience. You have to go and yes we did see Northern Lights… Read Full Review

“Hot in the day, Very Cold at Night!”

Written on: 06/03/2015

Casa Catatina was difficult to find, would have been easier to be told that it was part of the Bahia Calma complex! Apartments nearer to the pool where newer and clearly much better accommodation. Casa Catatina apartments were on the main road and old, very basic, but had everything that was needed. Very clean apartment with fresh bedding and towels. TV was totally in either Spanish or German... Near to beach, restaurants and bars. Very near to Spar Supermarket, which had everything that was… Read Full Review

“Brilliant Iceland Break”

Written on: 05/03/2015 by Rankinnd499 (1 review written)

Fabulous break from start to finish, Hotel Alda in Iceland was superb, friendly, helpful staff, lovely room, fantastic breakfast. Everyone we met was friendly, the city was clean and although we'd been told that everyone parties at the weekend, there was no trouble, no noise just people enjoying themselves. Only one small criticism was the issue of exchanging vouchers for excursion tickets at the airport, it wasn't clear where you did this and if it hadn't been for the brilliant reception team… Read Full Review

“Can't beat em! ”

Written on: 05/03/2015 by StuartQ (2 reviews written)

We've now been on 3 Fleetway holidays, on all of them we had lots of choice of accommodation and everything worked once we arrived. Also, we always seem not to be given the poorly located rooms that might be palmed off on the bigger tour companies, arriving when booked through Fleetway is like arriving for a personal booking… Read Full Review

“Brilliant relaxing holiday”

Written on: 05/03/2015

Just back from a wonderful two week break at the Savoy. Staff were friendly, rooms nice, A La Carte restaurants amazing, setting beautiful, pools great. We went SGrade all inclusive and the extras were unbelievable. Had 4 lovely massages, laundry being done was a real treat. Loads of things to do free in Soho Square, great to have that on hand. Hassle free and safe. Not allowed to give names of staff members which I think is a shame. All Staff were attentive and eager to please Would… Read Full Review

“great short break in the sun”

Written on: 05/03/2015 by Vincentu161 (1 review written)

Easyjet flight was good and on time. The hotel was good and the room was comfortable. The food was good but sometimes a little dry and overcooked so I am not sure whether later diners may have found this more of a problem. The hotel advertised mini golf but we found a lack of golf balls to play!! The hotel provided collection and return to Gibraltar airport which was very efficient. Unfortunately the train and bus service in the area was not very good so we were unable to go as far afield… Read Full Review

“Great value Iceland!”

Written on: 05/03/2015 by chloemowson (1 review written)

This trip was great value and managed to tick off one on my 'bucket list' - to see the Northern lights! Hotel was very good. As everything in Iceland is expensive, a 'happy hour' with half price drinks was really appreciated. Breakfast was extensive & delicious. There was a thermally heated outdoor pool only 5 mins walk away.(Bliss!) The organised trips were great - particularly the Golden Circle which packed in a real flavour of Iceland. We were lucky with the weather - snow and sun! Worth… Read Full Review

“Excellent City Break”

“Excellent Iceland Tour”

Written on: 05/03/2015 by Keithad (1 review written)

Booked Iceland Edge of Arctic Circle tour and everything went to plan and time. Fleetway use a local Iceland tour company for the actual tour and they provided an excellent service. We were the only couple on this new tour over the 4 days and had a great time with the tour guide throughout. Considering the personal tour guide the flights both international and internal flights and the hotel accomodation we think we got a very good deal. The only downside was that the Fosshotel in Husavik was… Read Full Review

“Venice - Long weekend”

Written on: 05/03/2015 by Sspotters (2 reviews written)

First class, everything booked correctly and everything happened as it should. Hotel at Stansted with car parking, flights on time and Hotel Gare in Venice was brilliant. Particularly like the quiet of Murano with a free shuttle to the main island if required. All in all a great experience, well done Fleetway travel, we will certainly be using you again… Read Full Review

“Northern Lights holiady to Iceland”

Written on: 05/03/2015

We stayed at the Hafnarfjordur Hotel which was very clean and looked New. The Falstaff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Staying there gave us the opportunity to see both Hafnarfjordur and Reykjavik. There was a bus stop very close to the hotel and buses ran very 15 minutes. The only drawback was that you needed to have the correct fare in kronas(350). Despite the weather being awful -snow and ice and very high winds -we saw the Northern Lights. The were only a grade 3 so we didn't see the… Read Full Review

“Excellent value”

Written on: 05/03/2015 by 168Poole (1 review written)

Flights - easy to manage Car hire - simple Hotel - fantastic. I have had Buffet dinners in many hotel but this was exceptional. Having a different food theme each night gave plenty of variety and the choices of dishes was excellent. The best surprise was the desserts. Often these look lovely but taste 'artificial' - not so at The Elysium - they were great. I commented on how good their Lemon Meringue Pie was and Ivan (the Maître D' I think) said he would get it on the menu the following… Read Full Review

“Weekend in Portugal”

Written on: 05/03/2015 by Welchjr403 (1 review written)

Just to say that from booking to our return journey more could not have been done. Fleetway service was exemplary, the hotel magnificent, local people so helpful and the gastronomy was fantastic. Ryanair did their best to undo the great work by subjecting us to an 8 hour delay but as frustrating as that was it does not change the quality of all other aspects of our stay in Portugal… Read Full Review

“Hotel reina christina”

Written on: 05/03/2015

Only area of concern was the pressure on the staff to clear tables in the dining room. When it became full near the end of our stay residents were finding it hard to get a table. No direction from the maitre d'. Not enough staff on bar , 1 person could not cope. There was a suggestion on booking that a bottle of cava would be in our room - did not appear. Also there was no suggestion anywhere about a paella lunch. … Read Full Review
