We've took this camera out on a few occasions, we managed to get about 6 photos the first time we used it before the battery died. But now, after using it about 3 times the battery dies (or at least it turns itself off and says 'battery low' even when the batteries are fully charged or even brand new) after taking one photo, this camera is hopeless, stay well away! Nice looking camera and its easy to use, lots of gadgety icons and programs but the HDC-551E is let down with use of the batteries they die very quickly.
It has 5.0 MP 3x super zoom and a 2.4" TFT monitor.
That's about all I can say about it. (read more)
