    Good Points: A wonderful holiday experience which is difficult to quantify. 8 visits in 10 years! Bellapais Gardens is a gem which is hard to pigeonhole. Family owned and run by people who really care for you. Lovely pool (v. quiet) and garden area together with a top notch restaurant (the best chef in the North)


    Bad Points: May not be suitable for the infirm due to steps leading to the pool area. This hotel is not really suitable for young children.


    General comments: Bellapais Gardens is located in the small village of Bellapais. Half a dozen restaurants and a handful of small local type bars, only one offering entertainment usually once a week, and one "everything" shop. If you enjoy quieter evenings with locals who quickly become friends, this is for you. The bright(ter) lights with more going on are to be found a 10 minute taxi ride away in Kyrenia.
