Good Points: Cheaper price compared to other brands

General comments: If you are short on the budget for hardware, D-link usually does the budget limitation however it does have some limitations with compatibilities with many brands, that would be the trade off for getting it at a lower price. All you have to do is check first if it would suit your system as well as the environment that you are in. Nothing is perfect, but you can be wise, and D-link price is a wise decision just better make a good assessment first so that you have a good match with what you have.

I bought this unit over a cheaper NAS box as it had the internal usb printserver... however I couldnt get it to work with my Epson Photo 950.
I tried to contact Epson for support but got the following reply stated that D-Link were sorry to inform me, but my Epson printer is not on the compatibillity list for DNS-323. Hence we are not able to provide me with support in that matter.
So if you want one of these units check the printer list on their website! I do not recommend the DNS-323.

Hard Drive install was amazingly easy! Remove lid - insert drive - close lid, this is it! I still laugh when I think about it!
h/d formatting is automatic as soon as the drive is detected.
Only trouble, if you decide to upgrade the firmware ( ...
