    Good Points: Quality, Service and Location...Superb


    Bad Points: None for me was great


    General comments: Loved it, I have been coming to Lakeview Homes for over five years. I have always found the accommodations are first class and comfortable. The location is centrally located within the city, yet feels so much like a getaway being right on the lake. I would hghly recommend Lakeview Homes to anyone coming to Nanaimo.

    We have been holidaying each year with the owner since 2002. She has always been helpful and gone to any lengths to accommodate our wants to make sure we had a good holiday. The home was large and spacious and spotlessly clean, The kitchen was well laid out and you could want for nothing. The bedrooms were light and airy, the beds were comfortable and the bedding was of high quality.     I liked the atmosphere of the vacation home at Nanaimo BC Lakeview and the view of the lake was awesome. A very homey, but clean and comfortable feeling we had while we stayed there. The owner greeted us and and informed us all through our stay of anything we needed. All in all, my family and myself had a lovely vacation in the Lakeview rental and we would highly recommend this place for a couple or a family wishing to relax by the water in central Vancouver Island.     Our association with Mrs Parakin dates back to 2002, during subsequent yearly visits our hosts resolute determination to maintain the highest of standards relative to customer satisfaction never wavered. Rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, the layout and contents of the kitchen is to be commended, we wanted for nothing.     I was very surprised when I saw the negative comments posted in the previous review. My family stayed in the same house in the same month and you would think we were in entirely different places. When I read the previous reviews in the guestbook at the house itself, even the ones from the previous reviewer, and they were positive and complimentary. So I presumed others had as wonderful a time as we did.

    We would highly recommend Lakeview and will be back again. Lakeview Vacation Homes is great. We enjoyed our stay incredibly. The home, the view and the hosts were all great. The location is excellent, a lake right in the middle of town. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The kids loved the kayak and fishing.     First impressions were that the property was well appointed and the rooms spacious. However I would not consider it as a luxury home in comparison to other homes we have stayed in and there was nothing mentioned in its description to inform us that it was part of a duplex.
