Good Points: Good quality of recordings. Good mixture of different composers.
Bad Points: Some pieces out of their 'context'.
General comments: Classical Ambience: The Ultimate In Calming Classics, is a great CD to just listen to when you want to chill. It contains a good mixed selection of favourite classical pieces and throws in some less well known pieces too. The quality of the recordings is good and generally speaking they are done by good orchestra's and soloists.
The CD offers various artists, including less often heard of composers like Mascagni (Intermezzo of Cavallerja Rusticana) and Franck (Panis Angellicus) but also more popular composers such as Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin.
The only downside for me is that some pieces that are excerpts and therefor taken out of their larger context, don't get their full potential. But other than that this CD is well worth the money and therefor recommended.
