    Good Points: large, auto cook fab, 2 shelves, cooks perfect, heats up fast


    Bad Points: lcd part went after only 4 years but can still just about make it out.


    General comments: very good, had the Sharp R959SLM for 8 years now ..if you're single guy and don't know how to cook this is the one you should buy.

    I owned the previous model (R-963M) for 5 years until it died a few weeks ago. 5 years is probably not what you wanted to hear, but that was an older model, and it got a lot of use. This Sharp R959SLM is essentially the same machine, judging by its capabilities. It is well built and cooks well.

    If you are skeptical about the "gimmicks" of having an auto cook for eg: a chicken, lamb, pizza etc..., then think: When you want to cook do you want to look in the manual to see what setting to use and ...
