“Poor updating”

I ordered a pushchair on line, not cheap at nearly £400. After the order ws placed an email was received stating that delivery would be 5 days later. Looked at the tracking system and again delivery date was the sme for the 12th. Waited in all day and nothing arrived. waited until 6pm and contacted Mothercare on line with their online chat.Only then did it emerge that the pushchair was out of stock and they were waiting for a new delivery. This was not pointed out on ordering and no contact from Mothercare with updates. I was told that they don't give updates and they were sorry but they couldn't tell me when the pushchair will be back in stock or when delivery would be made. very poor customer service from a company that should be able to communicate better and give updates so time is not wasted by the customer. I will not purchase online again, better to click and collect.

“worst customer service ever!”

Myself and my wife used the in store baby plan section as it was sold to us so well in the bluewater store. We selected our items easily and paid for the before the date that they specified. This was the easy part. Our products were due on the 20/12 so i took the day off I called them first thing and the confirmed I would receive my products by 5.30pm, 5pm came no sign of my products so I called them, they assured me I would receive them by 8pm as there is a back log. 8pm came no sign, called them again assured me I would receive them by 9pm. 9pm came and went and there phone lines were also turned off. Called them the next day and they told me I would receive them on the 23/12 and also our buggy was out of stock and I would receive it on the 28/12 before 12pm. We received our products on the 23/12 at 9.45pm after continuously calling them to find out what was going on. Not once did I receive it call to update me what was going on. Today is the 28/12 and surprise surprise we have not received our buggy again I have had to chase to find out what is going on, no call to update me. I have now been told I have to wait until 30/12 for my buggy which shoud've been reserved when ordering back and not September. If Mothercare could communicate with their customers and been able to manage their expectations this whole situation could've been avoided! Along with all the anger, frustration and stress. Not what you need when your wife is 34 weeks pregnant. In store Mothercare are brilliant, do not order from their baby plan.

“Worst delivery service combined with Yodel..”

They have some really good products but its a shame this company uses Yodel as their main "one day delivery", Yodel is known for their really bad service and customer support. They are even featured in BBC'S watchdog. I ordered some products for my baby since I needed them urgently. I paid £7.95 for a next day delivery. It's been 3 days and nothing. Yodel messedup my delivery and they never got back to me. Mothercare got back to me with a long apology email and willing to refund for my products. But they only refunded the product value not the delivery charge. As a reputable company mothercare should know its a day light robbery. I wasted 3 days waiting for a delivery, paid for products and delivery charge and expensive phone calls to Yodel (0871 number) and ended up with nothing. Mothercare is a good company. But YODEL is NOT. So avoid buying anything from mothercare online store. Just go to their store. Easy.

“poor delivery and customer service”

order a baby crib, after 4 days later, i got delivery notification message, so whole day i stayed in the home, but didn't delivered. waited for 2 more days and then i rung the customer service. They had no clue about my order delivery and they said i will get that on saturday. but even that's not happend, i rung them again on monday finally after 9 days late i got the delivery...

“No notice that my goods weren't delivered”

I found a really nice maternity tankini on the Mothercare website and ordered it a couple of weeks ago. When it still hadnt arrived the day before yesterday i began to think i was going mad... had i imagined the whole thing? I ordered it again, this time for next day delivery. It still didnt arrive despite the delivery address being offices with someone on reception all day. This time i managed to find a tracking reference and i could see that my parcel had been returned to the depot. Not much good as i am going on holiday tomorrow and am now swimsuit-less. The reception is manned all day and they said at no point did anyone try to deliver anything or did they find a failed delivery card. Mothercare use HDNL who are notoriously bad at this. I would LOVE to comment on the quality of the swimsuit etc but can't as HDNL couldnt be bothered to deliver it. Mothercare customer service has been pretty dire, in that i received no notification of any problems, had to order this swimsuit twice, and still dont have it. I wont be using their online shopping again.

I was incredibly impressed with everything when buying from Mothercare online. My sister is having a baby girl soon, so I'm helping her out with some of the things she needs. The buying process was very smooth along with quick delivery. I'm very happy indeed and sure my sister will be too, the quality of the clothes is also brilliant

Ordered a great deal of stuff from them and all were ready at the store within a week. And one was even delivered free to my door when I in fact asked to have it picked up instore.

If Mothercare ever let me down, let this be a warning, I will give them a review comparable to that I gave to TWO LEFT FEET in which are a disgrace to businesses in general.
