Good Points: Funny, straight to the point, informative.

Bad Points: Sometimes gets a little too statistical.

General comments: This book changed my life. It's now been a little over a year since I read it and became a vegetarian (I try to eat as close to vegan as possible, but it is extremely hard with my lifestyle), and I have never felt or looked so good! I now pay more attention to what is actually IN most of the things we eat and how important it is to eat as healthy as possible. Don't get me wrong, I still splurge for pizza once in a while, but not 3 times a week anymore. I now have the energy and self confidence I've always strived for!

Ignorance really is bliss, but sooner or later you have to conf ...

I've decided that I need to try and eat healthy to get back in shape and Skinny Bitch really caught my attention just for the title, as it stuck out from all the other diet books that are out there. The authors tell it to you straight about what's good and what's not, and give the reader a very up front and brutally honest account of how we are damaging ourselves and the simple things you should do to stay healthy. The book is based on applying a vegan diet and I found it interesting as I'm a ve ...
