I purchased a matching handbag , passport holder , purse , key ring and pouch - from the Biba range at House of Fraser online . I told my friend about it as it all 'appeared ' like a good deal - they sent out the items and sent out the wrong bag - the bag I wanted had then sold out ! So there was no point me keeping any of the items that matched it . In the meantime my friend ordered the bag I wanted (after me ) and she got it ! I'm livid ! I have recently had what I would describe as an exceptional situation where I wished to return unworn lingerie after 28 days due to a change in personal circumstance, all I wanted was to return the goods and receive a credit to be able to purchase other goods from the store, despite having written to the Head Office, this has been rejected. I went into the Manchester branch on the 4.5.03 for a cream bra, not being the standard size ( I am a 30F) I find it quite difficult to find a bra my size let alone in the colour of my choice, so I was very pleasantly surprised by the choice of bras you had. We visited and bought items in Solihull store which were handed to us in a (maybe recycled) black HofF carrier bag. By the time we had walked 50 yards to another store, my hands were almost as black as the bag itself. It was so disgusting, we returned to the store where,surprisingly,I was then questioned - did I have hand cream on or even perfume, as this could have caused the problem! No I did not! Went into the `Hammonds of Hull' today, Friday, menswear department. I have problems finding chinos with the correct fit for the slimline man!! I have been shopping in your store for a number of years, but was most displeased when on my birthday my friend said she would buy me lunch in your restaurant, we fancied home made soup and at first when we saw it advertised as "homemade" we ordered some only to fined it was tinned and tasted foul. Looked at several shops for a new suitcase. House of Frazer had the best selection and many at 50% discount. Bought a beauty for £45 instead of £90 - exactly what I had been looking for. Bought some jeans, washed them. Dye damaged several carpets. HoF asked for photos of damage, sent them. HoF then ask If they can have photos before the jeans damaged the carpets!!! Sorry no. I visited HOF at Metro Centre Gateshead recently and as always they have a great range of high quality fashion clothing, cosmetics and homeware, my husband thinks their mens department is excellent, especially when compared to other department stores such as Marks and Spencer who seem to be stuck in a time warp! Usually I love to shop in House of Fraser Aylesbury, but not today because the assistant had not removed the security tag after I had purchased a rain mac!
