As a working musician I have had three of Laney VC30, without a doubt it is a great amp and when my previous Laney's got broken due to poor quality handles I had them replaced which is why I have had three.
What a shame this great amp is subjected to the questionable quality of the carrying handles. Shame on Headstock the main distributor in the UK whom I advised by telephone and showed a distinct lack of interest, in putting it right. Come on guys whats a good qulaity handle going to cost...

The Laney VC30-212 is a great looking amp. It's all valve, class A. It's loud! 30 watts of valve power is loud! Clean channel is great, overdrive could be better and a bit less muddy.
The amp is quite transparent, so if you use a bad guitar, it'll sound bad. Like wise, if you use a good guitar, it'll sound good. This is good because it means it doesn't colour your sound at all.
