I am absolutely delighted with the excellent service, cost, speed and efficiency of Specs-by-Post. About a week ago I lost my reading glasses and had to resort to a pair of distance specs. I found Specs-by-Post online and spoke to them the following day with my choice of frame. They turned these round within the week and I received the specs exactly a week later. It would have been sooner had Royal Mail not been on strike but in no way does that effect the brilliant service I received from Specs-by-Post. I will definitely be using them again. A Five Star Service.

I would just like to say how please i am with the service from specs by post, the transaction was carried out in a smooth fast no nonsense efficient way and would have no hesitation in recommending you to my friends.

I will never go to rip off time wasting opticians again, my only regret is that i never used you sooner.

Bought a pair of what I expected to be cheap and cheerful prescription glasses from Specs By Post on-line and have been delighted with the quality of both product and service. The glasses arrived back within 4 days and the glasses are of the same quality as what I typically used to buy from D&A but forabout a third of the price! About £25 as opposed to about £80.

I used Specs By Post's reglazing service last week to replace the lenses on 5 pairs of my glasses, including my favourite sunglasses.I sent the frames off on Tuesday, and was called first thing wednesday morning and advised that one pair of vintage sunglasses I sent would not be suitable for reglazing. I sent my old frames to Specs by Post to be reglazed on Wednesday, they were back done by Saturday Morning. They were of exceptional high quality, The service was over half price on what my optician would charge. I highly recommend Specs By Post.

I spoke to a knowledgeable and friendly man at Specs By Post over the phone on Sunday, who confirmed that my prescription could be accommodated, sent my glasses off to be reglazed on monday and they arrived back on Thursday. Very happy with my glasses - I missed not being able to read things!

Absolutely first class service from Specs By Post. New to reglazing - didnt see why I shouldn't do it online....especially given the price was a third of that quoted by my local vision express.

Sent on Thursday afternoon....back by tuesday morning.

Clear communication by email confirming reciept of frames and delivery. Also got a phone call to discuss my special requests. The people who answer the phone there are friendly, knowledgable and professional. Couldn't ask for more. ...

In my opinion Specs by Post are-Selling glasses for their true price--Fast delivery--Great selection--In some cases they're cheaper than Glasses Direct - espicially for very basic designs which are from £12 to £15, whereas Glasses Direct is a minimum of £20 usually.
Last pair weren't a very good fit but I didn't think so much about the measurements.
I would highly recommend them

Received my specs today! They are probably the best pair of glasses I have had in the last 10 years. Firstly, they were the only people who said "yes" to rimless glasses for my specific prescription. I went to all the high street opticians only to be told that they couldn't and wouldn't do them, as my astigmatisms were too high. I received my first pair with four days, unfortunately I had made a mistake with the sizing, I was able to return them and re order another pair having first discussed it all a memver of staff.On a purely monetary level the glasses are as good as I have paid £90-120 for in the pastI am now going to order reading glasses and tinted driving glasses.It is a pleasure doing business with people who actually care about what they are doing and care about the customer ...

10 out of 10 for specs by post. I purchased a pair of Versace frames on ebay and thought I got a great buy until optical outlets advised it would cost well over £100 just for the lenses, so the frames sat in my bag untouched for several months. Then I had an idea to google for lenses and found specs by post who quoted well below £100. I am now a proud owner of a pair of glasses that should retail at £300 for a fraction of the cost.

Specs By Post are cheaper than other opticians for re-glazeExtremely fast turn around (Posted on Monday, received on Thursday)Quality of lens, cut and formulation for Anti-glare same as any other optician but at fraction of cost.Good communication and very friendly and helpful staff. No payment details are required until they have confirmed they can re-glaze your glasses, which is a nice touch.

Would recommend to anyone who want to re-glaze their glasses.

I love this shop! I have just received my 2 latest pairs of specs from www.specs-by-post.com - once again they are perfect and I have literally saved hundreds of pounds when compared to high street prices. My £17.50 including postage and packaging specs arrived within 5 days, and were identical to my previous pair from spec savers which cost £80. I am delighted to have saved so much money. Specs by post are the best on line web site for choice and value I have come across. Wonderful service all round.

I could not read with the glasses originally sent, although they were to my Rx; I sent them back with a request to change lenses to basic reading magnification and was charged only £10 for 4 pairs including postage for this alteration.
The Rx I had was my first after cataract ops and I did not realise this was for distance, not reading. When I explained this to Specs By Post they were very helpful.
