Good Points: Quick delivery - very good quality for the price. I got straight through to them to get an answer to my query and they were really helpful.

Specs By Post are cheaper than other opticians for re-glazeExtremely fast turn around (Posted on Monday, received on Thursday)Quality of lens, cut and formulation for Anti-glare same as any other optician but at fraction of cost.Good communication and very friendly and helpful staff. No payment details are required until they have confirmed they can re-glaze your glasses, which is a nice touch.
Would recommend to anyone who want to re-glaze their glasses.

I love this shop! I have just received my 2 latest pairs of specs from www.specs-by-post.com - once again they are perfect and I have literally saved hundreds of pounds when compared to high street prices. The quality is great, and the frames are just as good as anything you will find on the high street. The vision quality is spot on, and the lenses are glazed to a high standard. My £17.50 including postage and packaging specs arrived within 5 days, and were identical to my previous pair from spec savers which cost £80. I am delighted to have saved so much money. Specs by post are the best on line web site for choice and value I have come across. Wonderful service all round.

I could not read with the glasses originally sent, although they were to my Rx; I sent them back with a request to change lenses to basic reading magnification and was charged only £10 for 4 pairs including postage for this alteration.
The Rx I had was my first after cataract ops and I did not realise this was for distance, not reading. When I explained this to Specs By Post they were very helpful.

This is a much better way of buying specs, on-line, than being talked into specific frames at an opticians. The lenses are perfect, the right colour and thickness. There is a wide spectrum of styles and colours of frames to choose from.
Exact information is given as to measurements of the frames and lens and help is always available if necessary.
This is the first time I have dealt with Specs-On-Line and would recommend them wholeheartedly. Excellent

I had my eyes tested at a well known high street opticians who advertised two pair for the price of one and 30% off for over 60's.
The assistant helped me to select two pair and then worked out the price which was '£246 much above my budget. I have got 3 pair of equally good quality glasses from you for '£90. Thank you very much, I will definately recommend you to all my friends. Thanks again. Jim Ord

I bought 2 for 1 glasses from SpecSavers. I couldn't decide on my second pair, but had a month to choose.
I had to pay 60 to have the lenses on my first pair thinned down as I'm -5.00 in both eyes. When the glasses arrived the lenses weren't actually that thin. So I had a look around online and found Specs-by-Post to be the most reasonably priced for a reglaze.
I went back to the opticians and chose my 2nd pair. They ask what lenses I wanted so I said "I'll just take the frames please!" ...

I came across Specs By Post after getting a quote of £100 to have some glasses re-glazed in an opticians, and thinking surely I could get them done cheaper online. So I started browsing, and hence ordered my first pair. They cost me £27.50 (including postage).
