This is a great flute for the money! it plays very easily and has a sweet tone. I am an adult learner who just "stepped up" to a new flute and I had been searching around for a good one without breaking the bank and Trevor James came through. I love this flute and can see many years of enjoyment on it. (read more)

The Trevor James Privilege flute certainly outperforms Yamaha equivalent and has extra features which make it the far better buy. Very quiet action and lovely easy to blow notes/tone. Very good finish to body/plating. (read more)

Tend to agree, i compared to a 211 and 311 and found the Tjj better sounding and more richness.

The greatest flute for beginners and advanced players I've ever seen! Light (playing a few hours with no pain for your hands), easy to blow, excellent sound! No doubt this is one of the best flutes. (read more)

Model examined Privilege 111. new model, ( with solid silver lip and riser)
Excellent headjoint, very professional, super sound across the range. Great depth down to C note. Keywork and action very well balanced. Action ultra quiet. Silver plating looks substantial and robust. Supplied in excellent French style hard case and plush carry bag with straps. Model tested was new and was very well set up. Has 5 year manufacturers warranty.

It sings quite well when I tried it, probably much sweeter compared to the 211, 311 I tried. but people say it's on the heavy side and not as reliable as a Yammie (at least those made in Japan) Anyone with problems after years of use?
