    Good Points: Small.
    7.1 MP resolution
    fair battery life (tested with alkaline batteries)
    VR
    iso up to 1600
    flash
    scene modes


    Bad Points: No flash on VR ...


    General comments: The Coolpix L12 is a fair compact camera from Nikon. It is a decent product but it seems to be designed for point and shoot, with not as many manual modes as I would like. As a simple digital compact it does what I expect from it. I lke the VR it works good and does the trick.

    What I don't like that much is that flash is only possible without VR.

    Possibly Nikon has done that to save power drain and retain a fair battery life.
