    After my boyfriend and I returned from our holiday where he had proposed, I had taken my ring back into H Samuels to be re-sized. I was advised it would take 3 weeks to be altered.
    When it did arrive back in store it was still measuring at exactly the same size, which made me wonder if my ring ever left the store at all. So again they sent my ring off again and again I had to wait another 3 weeks. 3 weeks later my ring arrives in store this time it was still measuring just over the size I needed so again off the ring went to be altered a 3rd time, they told me because it can only be adjusted by 1/2 sizes it would be slightly smaller the the size I required, which now left me really concerned. Finally I recieved my ring and fortunately it fit only now the shank was left looking very thin I questioned this at the time they said this was normal with such a small ring. I am now looking for my wedding ring where other jewelers have told me my engagement ring needs a new shank due to it being too thin. I will never shop in H Samuels again and would urge people not to either. Poor quality and terrible service.

    Could go on for pages, but to keep it brief, recieved a beautiful diamond engagement ring from my boyfriend, it was far too big, this i know is quite normal, so after showing it off for two days had to take it back, i knew but did'nt quite understand that i was going to have a completely new ring made, would have been happier having the original resized. I had to wait a month which i accepted with no problem. I phoned the day it was due back and it hadn't arrived in, gave it an hour and a half ...

    H Samuel has very helpfull polite staff, attended to all i reqiured, gave good advice on items and after sales issues. good service, no waiting around. staff could answer any quiries on items required.

    Have shopped in H Samuel for years as staff have always been so helpful, BUT been a big change of staff, only a few recognised faces. New staff don't seem to wear any kind of uniform, stood chatting and finished comversation before i was asked `what do you want`!!!!?? this is so unprofessional, what has happened to the normal high standard? Get the old staff back...

    I went to the H Samuel store in Pontypridd in South Wales specifically to purchace two individual presents. The assistant that served me was patient, polite and extremely helpful. A credit to the store. I had already looked up the purchases on the internet site and was pleased with the unhurried attitude of the staff - nothing was too much trouble.

    I would without a doubt, buy again in the store and recommend it to my family, friends and colleagues.

    The service with H Samuel was excellent and the assistant very helpful. Good packaging and presentation box. Exactly what I wanted, no bad points.

    H Samuel well was pretty good the employee behind the desk helped me find the perfect present for my girl-friend on valentines day and it was bargain.

    No bad points that i can re-call just very helpful and polite.

    Overall quite satisfied but the H Samuel shop was busy and there was no order of service - one woman went because she had been waiting for a long time and somebody else just came and got served.

    Hartlepool H Samuel shop clean tidy sales assistant was very helpfull got a good bargain a birthday present for my neice .friendly staff promt service thankyou.

    I was given a diamond and saphire set for Christmas but to my dismay the post came off one of the earings.
    On return to the Paisley branch of H Samuel, where it was purchased from, I was dealt with promptly and proficiently. A similar item was not available but was told another one would be ordered for me.

    The staff at H Samuel were extremely helpful and knowledgeable but had to wait to be served. On the whole the staff were very helpful. however we were kept waiting to be served there didn't seem enough staff on the shop floor. The shop was busy and we were spoken to and advised of when we would be served.

    I like this shop very much and have bought a variety of jewellery from it over the last few months, and have always found the staff very helpful, the presentation of the shop is very good, with numerous gifts on show and easy to look at. The staff don't suffocate you, they are very pleasant and helpful, they are very discreet, not embarassing you by putting trays back in the cabinets, so that they only have one or two trays out at a time.     The ring needed to be sized and I was adviced that I would be able to go into the shop to pick it up on the 3rd Jan. The ring was not ready for pick up that day and was told that I should not have been told this although it was clearly highlighted on the reciept. I was then told the ring would be in on the 10th of Jan again the ring was not in the store.     I did like the diffrent ranges of products you could buy....I also liked the diffrent styles I feel thats important in a very competitive retail market....I enjoyed the friendly customer service how they did not push anything on you and how they were very helpful........I felt at the end of buying what I went for it was a place I would go back to rather then other jewlers because of the atmosphere anf friendly customer service!     Generally always happy with H Samuel, and service received. i wanted to buy a willow product, the assistant was very good with me, she was very helpful, and i would buy other products from your store. the only bad point was, all the willows were on the top shelf and unfortunatley i could not see any of them, even the assistant had to get something to stand on, and then she passed them down to me.

    At H Samuel I dealt with an extremely helpful sales assistant. Friendly store with no pressure to buy.

    No pressure to buy which made the shopping experience pleasant. Sales Assistant was very helpful and friendly wishing me a Happy New Year.
