    When everything works out this is a good service but any problems you are in BIG trouble. We ordered a laundry hamper but the item delivered was not what was ordered, in fact the item delivered is not even in the catalogue. Customer services are dire. Any problem must be your fault even when the delivery note matches the catalogue but the item delivered does not. Do not expect help other than return the item to the store packaged EXACTLY as delivered. They just cannot accept this is not always possible. Be aware customer service is rubbish.

    Tesco direct I found absolutely perfect.... paid on the Saturday delivered on the following Saturday and at a good price... text me on the Friday stating my order would be delivered between 8am and 11am... my TV arrived at 9:30am... no problems, helpful delivery staff.... really really pleased.

    wast off time when you contact Tesco Direct customers service and ask where is there delivery they say its on its way but nothing never use

    Tesco direct is an utter disgrace, i have just cancelled my order of a carl lewis cross trainer, and will never order from tesco direct again, they guarantee delivery within 10 days (this does not say working days just 10 days) it has been a total of 13 days and nothing has arrived, ive rang customer services and complained and they just said its to do with the suppliers and couriers. what a waste of 2 weeks of waiting in!

    Had order delivered for store pickup - that worked fine. Found that the storage unit was broken, tracking through Tesco Direct.com customer services was time wasting, and had to pay for second unit to be delivered with a promise of a refund later. Yet to see whether that works, but shouldn't have to make a further purchase when the retailer supplies faulty goods - it goes against all my principles!

    Have ordered from Tesco Direct many times before.Once took a delivery from them back in 2006 !! However the other three times I have used them I have had the items sent to my local Extra store for collection.All the collections were there a day before the estimated date and it was free to collect, a lot better especially when working.My first collection was a new LCD TV, which I also got buy now pay in 12 months with the Tesco Credit card, extremely simple process and took minutes.I have just pl ...

    Just bought a computer from Tesco Direct for a great price. I had it delivered to my nearest store and got there before they had told me, which was good, and they called me to let me know so I could go in and get it as soon as it got there. There was also an option for home delivery, but it wasn't free (even on a high priced order) so I had to delivered to the store.

    Empty promises on delivery dates, resulted in staying home on no less than 6 occasions before my Tesco Direct furniture was delivered. Useless...... Argos service is excellent and cheaper.

    We ordered and paid for a tumble dryer from tesco online, on Thursday 14th May 2009 and arranged delivery for, Monday 18th May 2009, between 7am and 7pm. After waiting in all day the order had still not arrived by 6.35pm so we telephoned customer services to enquire as to its whereabouts to be told that the warehouse had shut half an hour previous.     Tesco Direct.com has good prices on the products, but a very poor checkout system which repeatedly refused to acknowledge that I had only entered one address for the cardholders registered residence. Once I had got passed that, I was very disappointed to find I had to wait 3 days to go and collect what I had ordered! With Currys and PC world I have ordered for in store collection 20 minutes before picking up!

    I ordered 12 bottles of wine from Tesco Direct to arrive well in advance of Christmas. On the day of delivery, I was phoned to say that there was a problem - the products weren't in stock. If I wanted to re-order, I would have to ring customer services to do so.     Having recently moved to a new home I needed to furnish it cost effectively. Tesco Direct have a wide range of furniture, and not wishing to face Ikea, could order from the comfort of my new home and have it delivered for £4.85 which is pretty reasonable. Having placed an order you know the day of delivery. Usually the day before they'll contact you to confirm a time slot - 7-12 or 12-6.     Super-fast delivery of glass desk from Tesco Direct, gave me confirmation of delivery date and time by telephone and text message and the driver even called me an hour before he arrived to let me know he was due. SUPERB SERVICE best I've had. Recommended, will use again A+++++

    After 2 weeks of not hearing from Tesco Direct about my order for 2 items, I called them to discover the items were out of stock. I was surprised that no one had called me to let me know or refund my money. I was cross because I had bought these items in the sale and had missed out on other offers that i could have taken up elsewhere. I don't think i will be using Tesco Direct again.

    I placed an order and they said that my bank has a problem. bank said there is enough money tesco said replace your order but price had gone up. I feel I experienced very poor customer service, they seemed to have dropped my call three times when I demanded the same price.

    Tesco Direct

    Website says you can order and pick up from store with direct collection facility but when I checked on line the store that had that facility, London Southwark (Old Kent Road) was not listed. When I queried I was told it did not have the facility but when I emailed the web details I did not receive a reply. Oh well delivery only a fiver so what the hell with customer service, just unlucky I guess.

    I used Tesco Direct. Tip: use direct.tesco.com to go straight there, so you don't go through the main tesco.com site. I thought the choice was huge and the shopping experience was pleasant. I was a bit fed up having to wait 2 weeks because it was so busy. I wish you could have a pick up thing like Argos do. But the cd player arrived in good condition, without problems, it sounds great now! I bought a Sony BX3 mini system, which was a steal I thought, especially with the quality it gives out.
