Has some good deals at times. I ordered an item to pick up at the store, the brown package box itself wasn't sealed properly but they were happy for me to inspect the contents which remained completely intact. Staff seemed friendly and I have no issue recommending them as an option.

Bought a brand-new mobile phone from Tesco’s it was 40 from the day we bought it for some reason they decided they wanted to repair it the repair centre the worst mistake we ever done was bought a phone from Tesco’s direct for some reason they will not send us the phone back repaired they like to us all the time we are getting no joy we spent £600 on the phone never again will I go to Tesco’s direct the worst customer service I’ve ever known

“Extremely poor service”

Ordered a bed was given a delivery date and time, took day of work only to be told , when I rang them , we haven't even got your bed on the van. After several irate calls, which I had to make as no one called me back, I was given another date and time and promised that this mistake would not happen again. Guess what it did. After more several calls again made by me , my bed was finally delivered on the 3rd attempt. I was asked at one point if you are not in to take delivery can we leave it somewhere. It's a bed i was also promised a £30 compensation-still waiting. Absolute farce. Disgusting service.

“FAILED TO DELIVER”

Ordered a product with Tesco Direct on line. Signature required on delivery. Did not receive product Tesco will not/ can not provide a proof of signature. Will not refund my money. First time I have ordered with them. WILL NEVER ORDERED ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. ADVISE ANYBODY OF THINKING OF DOING SO TO THINK AGAIN.

Was very impressed with my recent click and collect order from Tesco Direct (Tavistock branch). I was emailed and texted when my order was ready for collection. Easy to collect and easy to return items also. Will definitely be using again and would highly recommend.

Ordered click and collect with a time slot between 4.00pm and 6.00pm . On arriving at 5.45 told they running behind slightly and shopping not ready yet . 2 hours is classed by them as slightly behind

“FAILED TO DELIVER !!”

I ordered a garage storage box from Tesco Direct. The delivery was arranged for a Saturday. On the Thursday before, I was notified it had been despatched. The notice said delivery time would be 7am to 7pm. I stayed in all day.. NO delivery. I phoned Tesco, they could'nt get hold of the courier's , all they said that it had been despatched. BE AWARE TESCO USE EXTERNAL COURIERS, who they have no control over. Surely in this day and age, it should be easier to keep your customers informed. For example, I ordered bathroom products from EASY bathrooms, I was informed the night before he delivery was due and texted an hour before the delivery was made. You would think a company with Tesco's resources could do the same. This shows a clear lack of respect for the customer. DO NOT BUY FROM TESCO DIRECT ANYTHING THAT CANNOT BE PICKED UP AT A STORE!! It would help if they were upfront regarding who delivers for them.

“Apparently 'in stock' but still awaiting arrival at store”

I ordered an Amazon Firestick and checked online to see that it was available. It was shown as 'In Stock' at my local Bognor Regis store, so I ordered and paid for it, assuming I would collect it within thirty minutes or so as it was shown as 'in stock'. Here I am, THIRTY HOURS later, a day after ordering, still awaiting the email staing it was awaiting collection from my local store. Should the situation remain the same in the morning, the order will be immediately cancelled and I shall go to Argus instead. Tesco need to remember it takes a long time to gain a favourable reputation, but it can be lost very quickly. Shambolic service. Don't say an item is in stock if it isn't. Management need to get a grip and take positive action.

“Lack of communication”

I ordered a laptop to be delivered, next day to local store. Instructions were that a confirmation email would be sent upon dispatch - it was. Not to go to store until received further email and text message of delivery - neither received. Unable to use "track order" facility as several attempts kept showing error message/service unavailable. Upon phone customer services to query, turned out my order was indeed at my cal store awaiting collection it no contact to inform me of this! Inconvenient and time wasting.

“Poor customer care, BE WARNED.”

Order item on the 15th June for delivery on the 21th. Received voicemail 8.58 on the 21th, Item has not arrived for dispatch. No update on the 21st or 22nd Contacted customer service on 23rd, they could not advise anything and will look into it. update in the afternoon... we are still looking into it.... Monday 26th updated to say item will be delivered next Saturday. customer service called Monday to say they are still looking into it.... with no delivery scheduled..... Called customer service on the 27th on same number as every other call, only now the can not answer my questions as "Customer care" are looking into the issue.... Simply discussing service and PP communication. I can only guess this is a totally outsourced online operation, managed by the cheapest bidder. I wish i read these reviews first, I would have paid the £30 more and gone to Homebase and would have been using my item for the last week!!!! BE WARNED.. DO NOT TRUST TESCO.. OMG!!! I have just checked the item and the price has gone up by £100, Yes this is a hot weather item, and we have a heat wave atm... Homebase are now £70 cheaper, but Tesco still have my £300.... We ordered a larder fridge, a hob and a built in cooker, even though 2 of the items were showing as later dates they arrived within 2 days of ordering and one came before the one that said it was in stock and would be the next day, so in total we were expecting to have to wait over a week for the hob & cooker but all 3 came within 3 days so very happy. Really like that we get a text saying what time scale and day the delivery is going to be. Website easy to use and prices really good too for everything and would definitely use again.

“Delivery Chaos”

Ok so i ordered a tv on the 2nd June and select delivery date to ME for today 8th June. Good enough i got a confirmation email to say the order was placed, and it noted that i would receive another email once dispatched. Sitting yesterday i thought i would check the status and track my order, it hadnt been set to dispatched. Same again this morning when i checked. So i phoned Tesco and the woman told me that the date that i chose was the day that it is actually delivered to the courier service who would deliver to me. Now im in Northern Ireland and there is only one base for this company, when i phoned them they hadnt received my goods and their delivery to my town was tomorrow. I had missed out on this delivery and would therefore have to wait until next week to get my tv. Tesco need to go over there delivery options and highlight that it will be delivered to courier on that date and not myself. Fair enough im in Northern Ireland and can expext delays. But as the courier service said Tesco arent meant to allow Northern Ireland residents pick their delivery date. Absolute joke. If i had of known this i would have went elsewhere. In fact i will be for now on. They wont be getting any custom from me anymore.

Terrible service Listing on Tesco's website said "in stock" Purchased item on 30th may.Conformation email sent to me saying item in stock and will be dispatched soon.The day of the first expected delivery date email received saying item out of stock.Tesco had also taken the money from my account 3 days earlier.I had to cancel order and spend 20 minutes on phone to get refund.Also still being advertised as in stock on Tesco Direct and 8 available on sellers (Sustuu) ebay shop!!!!???.A case for Trading standards i think.

“worst service do not use this company ”

I ordered a sofa bed and a double bed from Tesco direct which comes from there third party.the sofa bed had extensive damage and the bed had dents all over the framework i called Tesco direct and they said nothing to do with them and was there third party that was at fault i never heard from Tesco again the third party Tesco comfy living called after i had sent images and email and said sorry about your experience and as its a bank holiday wont collect till Tuesday and hung up the phone.The customers services on both companies is a total disgrace and are in breach of consumers rights.do not put yourself threw the misfortune of ordering from these companies as the just dont care about customers just the money in your wallet.

“SHOP ELSEWHERE!”

You would think given the name and brand that shopping direct would be a really easy experience. Ordering and paying was. After that-money taken ALL DOWNHILL. in my case T D used a company called "Product Care" for its delivery to me. the time was confirmed in a text giving the 2 hour window, so we knew to be in...all good! once we were "in the time window" Product Care rang and told us that the delivery wasn't happening as they didn't have the appliance to deliver. I rang rang T D to ask about the issue. a Scottish lady told me she was going to do ALL that was required to sort everything out...She Didn't (Tesco own staff member) this confirmed that neither Tesco nor Product Care really care about customers. Finally I spoke to another Tesco direct staff member who did refund ALL my money and gave me sufficient compensation to be satisfied. the day after receiving the compensation Product Care rang to ask if they could deliver-giving a 14 day time slot (so they would have had the money for 5 weeks had it not been for the refund). When I read the email to the girl she could only say "oh! don't know what to do"...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...It may be a little more expensive elsewhere but IF YOU want PEACE of MIND - DO NOT SHOP at Tesco Direct where only your money is important to them...

“Useless”

Ordered a sandpit to collect from store...never arrived. Phoned them up...they read out the exact same tracking order details that I could see on the website and said they couldn't find the number for the warehouse. Never using them again and strongly urge everyone to avoid.

So ordered my present for my mum from tesco direct due to Black Friday sale it arrived at Hayes and 10:53pm the night before I get a email saying we have refunded you as you have refused the order I have not refused anything and who the hell have you spoken to exactly tesco direct is poo taken day off work and now have to spend more to make up for tesco mistake!!!!

I ordered an inflatable mattress on Friday morning because I was having some friends over. Choose the click and collect service– next day delivery .It’s Sunday evening, and the mattress is still not ‘’ready to collect’’ and my guests had to spend the night somewhere else
