Goods not received having contacted Tesco to be informed that the ordered good were delivered to the store as I requested but to the back door where no one answered so the delivery driver left a card!! This is a large store in Hereford with no one to answer the door!! Why didn't the delivery driver go to the main entrance? Tesco need to employ more intelligent people. “Worst customer service i have ever received”

I ordered a 43" TV from Tesco Direct on 27 August and received a dispatch update email from Tesco Direct on 29 August informing me that the item would be delivered on 30 August. The dispatch update which came via email included my address (correctly inputed). However, Tesco Direct gave the wrong address to their delivery company so that while I took the day off work to sit and wait for delivery - it of course didn't arrive. Incredible in this e commerce age to find that a large company such as tesco delivering exceptionally bad customer service and being unable to meet the stated timescales. The could not even manage to deliver in the correct week let alone the correct day, not returning calls talking over you. In fact it is so bad I am now laughing. I have ordered Braun Hair Dryer on tesco direct. Paid extra for delivery next day. When I got it I have found that it was faulty. When reported to tesco direct customer care they suggested some other hair dryer and asked me to call again to process the request. Gave me a lot of wrong information. My 77yr old mother went to the Tesco Direct stand instore & a member of staff put an order on for her for her chosen item. She was told it would be a three day delivery so she continued with the order. Update:- despite several emails from Tesco saying they would ring me to discuss the situation and asking for suitable times, which were given i.e. anytime between 9am and 12 noon or during daylight, they have failed to contact me. I rang the customer service dept again to now be told that the order was now showing as awaiting release which means it hasn't even left them yet - that's not what they said on Tuesday when I rang - more lies! It would appear that I am not the only one in this position and Tesco Direct are still taking orders under what I consider to be false pretences.

Tesco - if you can't fullfill promised delivery dates then stop taking orders with false promises of delivery until you can and at least admit there is an issue instead of ignoring customers.

I made a click & collect order with Tesco on the 8th of November. The website stated unlike the normal 1 day delivery you need to expect 5-7 days for delivery. I wasn't happy but accepted it. As soon as I made the order the email said my order will be available to collect on the 16th of November - in my book that is 8 days! By the 16th I haven't even got a dispatch email!
