Good Points: 1)Clear top quality shots 2)You can virtually take shots with one hand it sits well in the hand 3) Good quality video with 10x zoom (640x480mp) 4)Macro mode is top quality
Bad Points: 1)Slight purple fringing on high contrast shots(but can be rectified with a good quality photo program) 2)manual focus can be a bit difficult at times best to use autofocus modes
General comments: At this low price you would be hard pushed to get a camera as good I would love to give it a 10 but for its bad points.

I bought the Fuji FinePix S5700 camera to take on holiday as it is compact and easy to transport. For many years I have been a film SLR user but decided to upgrade to make use of things a film camera cannot do(emails, video clips etc)Obviously it has limitations on wide angle and really long telephoto shots. But all the information on the separate mode settings make it a joy to use.If you are looking for a fairly versatile economic camera I would recommend this highly.

For the price, you can't help but be impressed and glad you parted with your hard earned cash and got real value for money. It seems to do all it says on the box, comes with an easy to use manual and takes quality pictures in all areas of use.
It takes 4 AA batteries which certainly last a long time and has a great zoom capacity taking lovely clear, sharp close-ups.
If you've got a tight budget and want value for money then do yourself a favour and buy it, you won't be disappointed. If lik ...

I have had this camera now for around 6 months and am very happy with it, the picture quality is good for the price, it has lots of auto functions that seem to do what they say they will and you still get all the manual too. The zoom is large and the macro is very good..... what do you want for 130.

This camera is a reliable, easy to use, flexible unit which works well in every mode. In particular is the excellent Fuji low light cabablity. This enables really good results in situations where flash is needed.
