I bought a lazy boy sofa and I payed extra for a 10 year warranty that would cover the sofa for much longer and more things, rather than the 6 year it already came with. Anyway recently the lazy boy electonics stopped working and is now stuck in a reclined position also the framework underneath is broke as when I go to sit on one of the seats you can feel it coming through. Bought a 3 seater and 2 seater chenille fabric sofa and was appalled at the shadowing that took place after just 2wks this shadowing does not go away and resembles someone wetting them selves on the seats, the manager at the bromborough site was of no help at all and told us not to sit in the same place to long , swap cushions daily and try putting a damp cloth on it! We purchased a leather 3 seater sofa 4 seater and chair we paid over £4000 for this. After delivery one broken zip. Now the furniture is not even two years old most of the Zips have broken and all the leather has lost its colour it looks like it's at least twenty years old. None of my letters or calls have been aknowledged which is just appalling. Why would you cough up over four thousand pound and expect to put up with it. Very informative staff at SCS Lincoln Branch. Always smiling and very patient. The choice of brands on furniture was immense and all of very good quality. We got a very good deal on La-Z-Boy 2 sofas with hopefully a prompt delivery of approx 4-6 weeks. “£60 call out for faulty suite !”

My 77 year old parents bought a suite costing over £2000 and now less than 18 months old has sprung a spring, where no one sits. We thought we would simply phone to have someone call out to see it and then it would be repaired. No. They are insisting they pay £60 call out charge. They sell you faulty goods and then charge the customer. After numerous emails and phone calls they eventually offered a "goodwill gesture" of £30! Even emails to the CEO resulted in nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RUDE COMPANY Absolute disgrace, especially your Huddersfield store. Bought laminated flooring in December, got fitted by your nominated fitter (his bill included in your invoice) by January it was really bad. Call him back refitted few boards. and said all your boards are of poor quality he cannot do anything. We bought a carpet at the Nottingham branch for a rental property in early August. Plenty of choice in the shop, approachable, friendly staff. Fixed the delivery date for early September to give them plenty of time as we specifically needed a morning fitting. Come the day the fitter calls to say he hopes to arrive by 1pm !! Staff very helpful in the store when ordering the sofa. The delivery date was 4 weeks after the date we was told it would arrive. When purchasing the sofa we were told we could select a day and morning or afternoon this wasn't correct they phoned us with a date and was pushy with it telling me they had no other day in that area and someone had to be in all day not just am or pm as I were told, working full time made this very difficult. So far the timing has caused inconvenience as my partner and I both work fulltime, we only had one and a half hours notice for measuring up then booked a full day off work for fitting which a day and half later we are waiting for with myself having to ring and chase rather than being kept informed. I had a carpet fitted throughout my house by SCS in 2012. The carpet has started to fray in various places and I now have a huge piece of carpet missing. I contacted the SCS after care team and was asked to send an email and photos. I did this and the response I got back stated the damage was not due to an inferior quality carpet or a fault, it was due to the type of vacuum cleaner I have! “Delivery drivers at SCS they're the best”

The delivery drivers from SCS were brilliant. They rang an hour before to let me know as promised. When they arrived they were both very pleasant and helpful. It was a bit of a problem at first but between the two of them they persevered and got it in, they were really good. Even with it being a tight squeeze there was no damage. From the moment of purchase I had nothing but trouble with SCS, poor customer service with one shouting at my partner at one period. I spent £900 on a corner sofa and after only 5 months the sofa is in poor condition, they refused to acknowledge me when I queried them about this. We ordered and paid for a reclining two seater sofa, a reclining chair and a bed settee all upgraded to top class leather. On the agreed delivery date the SCS delivery van turned up and the chair and two seater sofa was brought in to our home.
