Bought two sofas from scs and an insurance that supposed to cover everything so nothing to worry about That's about the biggest lie I've ever heard . We have had the sofas two years now and they were staring to feel uncomfortable we contacted the insurance company they said everything OK but cushions were breaking up but in the small print that wasn't covered. Ordered a Sofa in November for delivery before Christmas which was fine all delivered although noticed faulty arm, I have had 2 technicians out who agreed problem, I have tried to contact customer services and each time waited over 20 minutes on hold. sometimes I have even given up. I have been told someone will call me back this never happens. I have had to take days off work and still not been fixed! still waiting to find out what will happen. Are technicians from Castelan? Iv had problem since January 2016 still not resolved. I have rang Financial Ombudsman who are very helpful telephone no. Hopefully will be sorted now.

It's now 6 weeks but my sofa never got delivered. I phoned to be told it will be other 4 weeks at least before it will arrive at their store. I feel that their 4 to 6 weeks estimate is misleading and if possible would have cancelled or never ordered it in the first place if they had been more honest with the delivery time.will let you know in 4 weeks time if I get my order. I purchased 2 x Axis 2 Seater Manual Recliner Sofas on 2.1.16 and they were delivered on 10.3.16. During the 11 week wait we rang 3 times to try to find out a date when we could expect them/book a day off for delivery and were met with a different story each time. Our leather suite was delivered with some damage and we where told to phone customer services. A very rude man eventually came and repaired the faults that where obviously manufacturing defects and no apology has come from SCS. What is really annoying is the £6.10 phone charge for calling customer services twice, 019 numbers and where kept on hold perhaps to run up the charge. I wish I had read the reviews of SC before I purchased my carpets from them. Unfortunately all the reviews are correct. They take your money tell you it is in stock and then give you a fitting date. Few days before they tell you it is now out of stock and say 10 days delay. WhenI rang the store I was told it is now a 6 week delay and given new date. Ordered 2 seater and 3 seater settee plus footstool. Delivery date agreed was the beginning of March. No one contacted us to say that there would be a delay and we were told that it was most unusual for the furniture not to be in on time (Oh how I wish we had read the online reviews.) I bought a 3 piece from Scs in January 2016, there was very terrible chemical smell coming from the suite. It was so strong that it was making myself and wife have severe headaches and vomit. After 4 days we complained to Scs to come and take the furniture away because we could not stand to be in the same room as the furniture, They sent someone to look at it . “Comfortable shopping experience with no pressure ”

This is the third time having visited the store in Hull in the last few months . I didn't feel any pressure to buy and was left to look around which is the way I like to shop .
