Since last review our suite finally arrived the settee was correct but not stain guarded what we had paid extra for !!!!! The chair was NOT RIGHT AGAIN THE ORDER WAS WRONG After phone calls to the Lincoln store and many many yet again excuses we could not manage to speak to a Manager only different sales staff giving yet more excuses. My mum bought a sofa which she didn't have to start paying for until 11 months later.buying was the easy bit lovely lady who served her..took twice as long to come and then they took money from her bank one month earlier then supposed to..when she went to complain they said it was 10 months but on her contract it clearly states 11 months.she cancelled her direct debit at the bank payed off her sofa which was over £1000 took off what they had already took out..then they have told her she still… Read Full Review

We spent considerable time looking at a new sofa and found one we liked at SCS. The sales staff were very good and gave us a 6 week delivery date. However, 6 weels came and we had not heard from SCS, I telephoned the store, they said they would ring back but never did. went to the store and saw the manager who said it would be another 3 weeks. I ordered two four seater strand sofas in the Easter bank holiday sale, got them at a great price...very happy untill I came across these reviews which led me to almost cancel my order! My sofas were delivered on time and the 2 guys who delivered it were really nice. I even gave them a tip. But......this nightmare started after delivery! I hope in a few weeks/months, that you don't find yourself in same position as the 99% of people on these reviews.

Purchased the Ashley suite. Delivered in March. After first 2 weeks both chairs were "sagging". Contacted SCS and they sent out their upholster. A week later a letter arrived saying nothing wrong with chairs. Emailed aftercare and as I had expected, after reading reviews on here yesterday, they are doing nothing. To say I am very unhappy is an understatement. So I was talked into going with an Endurance leather sofa by the sales team and manager at the Castle Vale store as it would was "better than leather" for withstanding wear and tear. I bought a Lazyboy Kansas 3 piece suite in June 2011. In March 2014 two seams stared to split open in one of the chairs. It took 6 months to get this repaired under the Guardsman policy issued by SCS. Before this repair could take place the same happened with the second chair and another 6 months wait for this to be repaired. We had a really good experience in store, but the after care was awful. After numerous phone calls, we were told our sofas would be delivered on a certain date, the afternoon before delivery, we got a phone call to say that it would not be delivered the following day. This was they said due to an admin error! After a few choice words and a phone call from the manager, it was agreed it would be delivered the following day,13 weeks after ordering. We made a simple purchase of a stairs carpet and initially paid deposit (£100). SCS came out to confirm measurements and cost as per their procedure. That's where the good service ended. In order to arrange fitting we had to pay the balance of the bill. However it is impossible to contact them by phone. When after 3 days of trying we did finally get through they were unable to find our details on the system so we were still unable to settle the bill and arrange for the fitter. I ordered the Italian range sofa...very expensive, it should have been cream with a brown trim, and a cream chair with a brown trim. This is a great site but I don't think enough people know about it. I am not up on all this social media but hat sounds the real place to let others know of its existence. We have had a problem with SCS and are in the midst of writing a review so wen to their branch in Preston. I think the staff go on a course on how to make their day by getting up customers nose. I agree with you, go somewhere else not SCS.

We purchased 2 lazy boys sofa's in January after seeing lazy boy sofa's in the Basildon store. We we told the sofa's had been on the shop floor for at least a year and considering the wear and tear they would have taken in that time we were confident enough to place the order. Took delivery of G.Plan settee (one recliner at each end) on date promised but not happy with appearance with the fitting of these recliners but SCS say it is acceptable and will not involve G.Plan. One week later the power unit to one recliner failed, it took 3 weeks for SCS to attend ....no spare available ,2-5 weeks on order.
