I only started reading reviews on scs after I had signed on the dotted line and was very nervous after what I had read however I am extremely happy!! On the 1st of November I went into the Stirling store and ordered a new corner sofa and 2 seater, I was served by a woman who was very helpful and made it clear that the extra protection for the sofas was my decision and also advised on the fibre/foam cushions. ordered a 3 piece suite on the 2nd of november2014 all the reps and managers told us 4/5wekks guaranteed delivery when my wife phoned on all 5 occations it was deffo a christmas delivery? the warehouse guy phoned us up today to say it will now be january you have to laugh or you would cry like my wife is doing now totaly spoilt christmas,i spent 1600 in cash and basicaly got lied to from everyone /once they had taken my hard earned money the simply do not give one care about you i think it is… Read Full Review

Bought a carpet for the hallway in october. expected carpet to be delivered and fitted on 21st November. The carpet fitter turned up fitted the underlay and grippers, then went to fetch the carpet from the warehouse. Only to find the the lines were printed wonkey. Where do I start whoever may be thinking of buying from them Pleaseeeeeeeeee DON,T the customer service is disgusting from the store and the head office. We ordered a sofa had a del date for latest 5 weeks then onto 6 then onto 8, so we decided to buy from Ikea got next day delivery, excellent customer serviceand same price. i brought a sofa and a swivel chair when delivered the chair was the wrong colour and the sofa cushions was wrong I phoned the store spoke to the sales man he said it was my fault that I had orded this in them colours but why would I order a grey sofa and a beige chair .he was not very helpful couldn't wait to get me off the phone then we went in store spoke to him they said they will put chair rite but I would have to pay £75 a cushion and I would need 3 of them my sofa does not look rite… Read Full Review

ordered sofa and carpet on 8th November. Carpet was due to be fit on 25th November. They rang us the day before to change the date to 27th. They don't say what time they'll be coming so to have to be home all day (day off work in my case). Didn't arrive on 27th, no phone call of explanation or apology. the chairs to the dining room set were faulty and were clearly maked as such before they were even sent out. As it is nearly the end of November now I rang the store at Silverlink to give me some idea of when to expect its arrival. Staff said it's not due in from the distributor until 3rd December. Had a storm 3 corner 3 sofa for 2 weeks since delivery. Noticed that corner seat foam sagging somewhat. Scs sent man out to inspect . Yes i have had this i am furious that their response was to "puff up cushions".. when i clearly paid extra for hard fibre ones ... they are a joke.. the next phone call will be come and pick sofa up because i do not want it!! Customer service is terrible they dont give u a date until the day before they are coming. The amount of time i have wasted ! I am furious i should of gone to dfs!

The worst company ever-poor service, ludicrous terms of sale and if your sofa doesn't fit in your home you are ******! Not even offer of exchange-unless in 7 days of sale...which is ridiculous-what if you are not happy when goods are delivered after 4 weeks?? (And some leeway should be allowed for furniture not fitting in-this should be no big deal should it??) And free carpet? £30 for delivery is NOT free-morons. Searched online all sofa shops and decided SCS had the best selection of fabric corner sofas for us on arrival at the nottingham store we were NOT dissapointed.
