Not being at all satisfied with service and delivery (broken light and damage to doorframe)I sent recorded delivery mail to local store and head office which were completely ignored. I tried phoning but came to the conclusion that after scs received over £4k from us they no longer cared! Disgraceful. Is it good service? Considering you had to let them know their range is faulty? Mine was the same, they knew the problem was down to manufacturing, they should have contacted customers to recall.

“Poor after sales”

We bought a Lazy Boy sofa and 2 chairs from this firm and on delivery found that the 2 chairs, in particular, did not appear to be the same as we had sat on in the shop. The arms felt much higher and anyone sitting in them would end up with their shoulders up by their ears! A complaint was raised with ScS After Care (a misnomer if ever there was one) who sent out an upholsterer to look at the problem. “Endurance rubbish”

Feb 2014 purchased 2 endurance leather sofas? Sales staff told us how hard wearing and durable this range is. July 2015 both sofas are peeling and we have found that endurance is composite leather? Hi there, my sofa was replaced free of charge, I have since found out that this is a known problem to SCS as it was a manufacturing fault! They just obviously hoped customers would just bin the sofas! Not very good, they should have recalled them. So fight for the new "much improved" endurance which is apparently now suitable and delivers the original promise... I will see in a few months time.

we are very disappointed with the quality of the recliners, mainly because they are front heavy when they are extended and dangerous, if you are not care full you end up on the floor, this has happened a couple of time to myself and my granddaughter, we are very unhappy with this product considering how much it cost us. but what can we do we have only had the chair and the settee since the 26th june. mr jones and mrs c. clark ( unhappy customers)… Read Full Review

“Poor quality poor delivery poor aftercare poor company”

Ordered a corner sofa and chair in October 2014, finally got it delivered week before Christmas, it has hardly been used and yet the cushions are flat very very poor quality of furniture considering we paid £2100!!! After care was disgusting and the attitude of the store manager was the same, didn't care as long as he got his money and you were gone. I'm very disappointed with the service received as I was told that not to worry about any damage or stains in regards to kids making any marks on the white leather sofas. The way the sale's person at the Bradford foster square retail park store he resaured me that not to worry about a thing, but when it came to claim the attitude shown by the store was extremely disappointing and very unprofessional. We ordered a sofa along with our daughter on the same day. We were quoted 8 weeks delivery. After 8 weeks we checked on our order only to be told they had cocked up and forgot to order from manufacturer. Now told we have to wait another 8 weeks. “nightmare on the high street”

Visited grimsby shop last march, salesman was fantastic but all went very much downhill from there. when i did get back to the shop he was blamed because he had left. no excuse. we spent around £4500 on a leather lazy boy suite and carpet delivery to be june. got a phone call in may and told it would be two weeks late, and why was the carpet down to be delivered after the suite, as you can imagine i put them right on that one. Their sales is usually very good, friendly, refreshments, bargains(?) etc. The delivery times are not so good BUT most of all the finished products and after sales service is disgusting - and just try getting your money back! They have all the bases covered.

We bought 2 leather sofas the same as my parents, all of them have peeled and SCS blame it on the cleaning. I've since read other people's comments and they have also had the same problem. I've just come off the phone to them after complaining for several months and there blaming it on us, they haven't even sent an engineer to look at the damage. We purchased a lovely large 3 seater sofa & waited for the delivery. After 5 weeks we had a call saying your sofa is ready for delivery so we made the arrangement with the understanding of 1hr pre call. Bought corner sofa and carpet in Dec 2014. Wrong sofa construction information given by salesman in showroom. Told the salesman we had an awkward corner in house making manouvering difficult. Used scs aintree got given an estimated date then called up and was told a definite date so had our old sofa removed... 3 weeks later still no sofa!!!
