I ordered a new sofa OCTOBER 2014 to be delivered in time for Christmas! It was but the wrong colour, I ordered in in dark Brown they delivered a Cream one!! ( I have two dogs). So I refused delivery. The sofa I ordered was Electric recliner because early in the New Year I was having both my knees replaced, I am disabled. I was told it would be a priority order. Stay away from this company and spend your hard earned cash somewhere else. Sofa was sold with a 10 year guarantee on the frame; of which the springs have gone in both ends, company now expect me to pay to have someone out to inspect it - Shame they do not inform you of this when they tell you that it has a 10 year guarantee. Visited SCS in Northampton looking to buy a sofa and carpet. All member of staff were ignorant, rude and just generally couldn't care less. It took us over half an hour to find someone who would actually go through prices and payments and he was extremely rude and sarcastic. Purchased an Endurance suite in October 2015. Cushions not re-shaping properly, even when left over-night. Solihull store arranged inspection Jan 02 2015. Technician came out and replaced springs in right hand side of 3 seater and said cushions were fine because they're memory foam..! My goods were supposed to be delivered in 6-8 weeks, it is now more than 9 weeks since my order and I donot know if my goods are ready for delivery. I have recently puchased a couple of 2 seater recliners from SCS Cannock wich in the words of SCS advertisement,and sales person who sold it me are ENDURANCE SCRATCH PROOF LEATHER ideal for a family with pets . “AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

Bought sofa and swivel chai. r back in 2012. Was really comfy and plenty of padding in the store, sales woman added a cleaning kit without informing us, and told us the extra cover we purchased at £200 covered almost anything e.g. kid cuts it with a knife etc... all covered. Sofa arrives, seems less padding, within a few months the springs collapse and all the cushions are flat. Phone and they arrange repair and complain bout cushions, said repair man will take a look. Me and my partner ordered a sofa and swivel chair online and were promised this within 3-5 weeks. It also said on the contract that was sent to us that if there was any delay in is receiving the sofa then we would be informed. We ordered it between Xmas and new year and didn't receive it until the 3rd week in March!! We bought a sofa from SCS three months ago, and it is already falling to pieces! You would think that it is ok because it should be guaranteed? - NO! We called Customer Service out as the sofa had developed a "sink hole" - the upholsterer came, we thought he was going to inspect it - and was most surprised to find he came with all his tools, and we were worried he was going to "bodge" it up - but no - he flatly refused to accept that anything was wrong with it at all. I was looking at a sofa it was demonstration model assistant very in your face and was disgusted that she put her feet shoes and all on the furniture immediately thought sorry £1600 is still a lot of money to be spending and you have your shoes all over it £59 delivery what sorry price paying should include delivery how else are you going to take it home. Said it would be awhile for delivery why it is here in the shop so I pay and others abuse it god knows what state it would end up being delivered to me. No sale thanks I run out as fast as I could before they drove me to commit for sanity reasons only. Not clever

Ordered a Sofa that was meant to be delivered in 8 weeks, its now been 13 weeks and there's no sign of my sofa and no one at the SCS Beckton store seems to know anything about when my sofa will get delivered. Ordered a sofa and carpet was made clear the lead times of the sofa 9 weeks I can cope with this. The carpet was ordered at the same time and told delivery within 2 weeks and a guaranteed date for fitting got to the date of delivery and a no show after a few phone calls to the store that never answers the phone. Paid in full for a sofa 11.01.15. Including delivery still no goods. I have asked to speak to a manager 3 times now with no sucess. On the last call a terrible assistant  informed me she was cancelling the call after I informed her I would like a full refund as Dfs could guarantee my sofa in 2 weeks. Apparently it is a non cancelable order. Which i wasn't informed about. I would not recommend scs especially the paisley branch.
