Good Points: The team that fitted my windows on the first 2 days were great, friendly, hard working & done the best with what they had for me!
Bad Points: Customer services, ignore customer phone calls, quality of product not all its made up to be, lots of parts damaged! No one comes to assess any work etc. A shoddily run company!
General comments: Weatherseal are a company that fitted our new windows & doors, it took them 14days to complete 7 windows & 2 doors! Windows arrived too small & were fitted while waiting for proper one to arrive, doors were damaged, handles were damaged & they were not rectified at any speed! They are the worst company ever to do business with!!!!

Windows are not installed properly, facias all need to be removed repacked and facias replaced, gale force wind howling through the gaps, reported faults over 10 weeks ago to Weather Seal customer services, who still can't give me a date to fix them and just keep giving me excuses

Weatherseal agreed to do a free quote for windows knowing i the homeowner would not be there. when they arrived they were rude and aggresive and called my partner a liar for saying i was going to be there, at no time did she speak to them. This company should be AVOIDED at all costs. I wish i had done the googling before calling them

Had a Weatherseal Rep round today. Firstly He was late. He talked for an hour and rubbished every other company and their products under the sun. Then started with a sales pitch which involved getting on his 'boss' on the phone who had to speak to my girlfriend (only able to speak to person who originally booked Visit) preceded to pressure her into her making a decision today with one day only discounts etc.
Would not measure or issue a quote unless we agreed we would sign up for windows toda ...

Like other reviewers, I got the 'patter' pitch for about 2.5 hours... The Weather Seal guy started with the most ridiculously high prices, which proceeded to plummet, with him asking what I'd want to pay... What was my 'bottom line'! I wouldn't say initially, and when I eventually said I wouldn't pay more than £x, he came down to it and below! Then a few calls to the 'boss' to check. Can't their salesmen make a decision without constant calls - he made 3 from my hallway, of which I could ...

Would not recommend anybody to use Weather Seal as I feel they are dishonest. However, they may well have a good product but I think their sales patter is just trying to con as much out of you as possible. All you want is an honest quote.

Weather Seal visited my house,i happily made the appointment and got on great with the rep,i now have a full fitted house of windows full of quality the price doesn't matter my windows needed done i got them for £8250 they are the best investment so far.if i had been quoted £3000 by a diff company but it is terrible products they use and i wouldn't want 2 put windows worth £3000 in a 47 grand house that would probably decrease the value

The whole experience has been a bit of a nightmare, would I recommend Weatherseal to somebody, probably not, knowing how many times they messed up our order and had to remake it, and that its still not resolved to our satisfaction, knowing how awful the customer services people are, I would feel incredibly guilty if I told a friend to get in touch. Its a real shame because the window fitters are lovely, and the windows themselves look really nice.

Weather Seal were very prompt & keen on the phone. Turned up when they said they would. Very nice salesman. not one to waffle. Straight to the point and as usual, quoted high and came down.
I needed 2 tilt & turn bedroom windows with hardwood surrounds. I signed up for the deal at £400 per window inc Vat & fitting. Not bad as the first quote was £2200 all in.
It's a buyers market and he who has the cash is king, but don't give it away.
Do the research and hold firm for a deal and ...

Weather Seal salesman arrives at 6pm and didn't leave till 11pm. Five hours with what was obviously a standard sales pitch about how great the company was, how great their windows were. When he eventually got around to measuring and pricing, salesman refused to listen to what style or design I wanted, instead telling me what style I wanted. Price started at almost 10,000 for eight windows and a free door. I was never asked what kind of door I would like, just heard him on the phone to his bo ...

Within minutes of making an online request for an appointment with Weather Seal for a front door quote we had a phone call, offering an appointment between 3 and 4 pm the following day. My husband was advised that the appointment would take one hour, which seemed excessive, particularly as he has technical knowledge of the Secured By Design standard - the operator did not, and he informed her at length of the different standards as she did not seem to understand them. On the day of the appointm ...

Weather Seal responded promptly to request for quote. The Weather Seal rep was pleasant enough but took 1.5 hrs before even starting to measure up and then only because I said I was tired (10.30pm) and would have to kick him out. Started at £14k+ for 3 large flat windows plus door and ended up at £8.5k but only if I took out Home Plan. Too tired to bother getting price down and asked him to leave.

Wanted a quote for 6 windows and Weatherseal sales person arrived on time, intruduced himself and began his patter. Then it all seemed to go wrong. First he spent about 40 mins talking about other window companies rather than getting down to what he could offer us.Then he gave us our quote for 6 windows... £13,500.When we told him we were thinking more in the £3k region he got down to £4200. Then we said it was still a bit high Gave us a price of £4k, then £3900 ...

Weather Seal didnt turn up to agreed appointment at 1200hrs at 1445hrs I phoned them to see where there salesman was and they said they would send someone in the hour.
Waited again, still no arrival.
Basically I had four calls in the morning to confirm appointment but not one call to say the sales man was not coming or would be late.
I am absolutely so glad they didnt turn up at least I dont have to deal with them and can get another company in.

Will not recommend Weatherseal to do any work for me or anyone else. Salesman talks for ages. Had all my windows, doors and a patio put in. I was left with a really messy wall at the top of the bay window, with bare brick showing. I was told there was nothing they could do with it. Patio door wont lock now and to top it I was promised cash back, as yet not got it.

Weather seal salesman came around for quote: 2hrs of talking and he could have gone on for another 2 hrs!
8 windows = £11,750!!! With all the 'discounts', it got whittled down to £7500. We already had quotes from other local companies coming in at £4K.
He asked if we liked the price, so I told him I could get them for £4K. His face dropped and started looking at all aspects on how to knock the price down. He called his manager (which he said he had to).
I stated t ...

Have today agreed to purchase 2 double glazed windows of Weather Seal at a price of £3,000. This includes removal of 2 box sash windows which are many many years old and full installation of PVC windows. So far pretty happy. The salesman was nice but clearly reading off what had to be said in order to tick off his checklist. Have to say though, I left a request for call back at about 3pm, called back at about 3.05pm - arranged meeting for 8pm same day, salesman showed up on the dot - meeti ...

Weatherseal priced a set of patio doors at a fitted cost of £3000. Pricey, to say the least.
The sales man then said the best way to pay for this purchase was using Barclay Partner Finance. The proposed credit package comprised of 120 monthly payments of £65.79. APR 26.6%
10 years of payments which would have resulted in the total cost for the doors being £7,894.80!
The sales person also stated that finance could be payed off early without any problem but forgot to mentio ...

Windows look nice however they were left unsealed in parts inside and out. Snags were not fixed, I would say that in our case the aftersales service has been non-existant. The windows have been very noisy not just one but all and trying to get someone out to check them is nigh impossible. They have took our money, but then where's the service? I took my complaints to Trading Standards and am about to seek legal advice on outstanding issues almost 3 years down the line.

I just wanted a quote for one window. Weather Seal Salesman took over an hour to compare his to other companies, how I could get discounts for allowing my property to be used in advertising, how a bank gives them a discount which would be passed onto me. I said I only wanted a quote,to have the job done if price agreeable, pay the bill, get the 10year guarantee. He than went into the discount arrangements again.I asked him to leave. He said he could not without phoning his manager. My son than got h ...
