Good Points: We called up at 1pm to ask for a quote, and someone was round at 4pm.
Bad Points: The price dropped when we didn't agree with the initial price, why could we not get that price in the first place?
General comments: We didn't go ahead with our Crystal Windows order for a new front door, as we were unhappy how the price dropped. We started with a figure of £3k (!), and then it came down to about £1800 through various complicated calculations. When we said it was still too much, it came down to £1600.
The fact that the price could drop that much made us loose all faith. Also to get this 'amazing' price of £1600, we had to agree on the spot. That just made it worse for us.
I absolutely don't recommend Crystal Windows.

We have needed two minor adjustments in eight years and Crystal Windows has dealt with them straight away without any quibble and have been very helpful. What more could you ask?

We got a quote to have the windows in our flat replaced. Unfortunately the freehold company would not allow us to go ahead with replacing our old single glazed wooden windows with double glazed upvc windows. Crystal windows were a pleasure to deal with, even calling the management company on our behalf. When the deal fell through they even refunded our deposit.

I tried to get a quote from Anglian, but the salesman never showed. Probably a good thing in the long run.I had got a voucher from Homebase for Crystal Windows, but lost it before the salesman came. He was polite and honest (and pointed out that the voucher would only have been 40% if I was having the whole house done). I already had two other quotes on the table they he did not know about he told me the other companies would charge me much more, when in fact Crystal was one of the most expensive. I have a Victorian property with beautiful original sash windows. I made it clear that the only windows I required replacing were the kitchen and bathroom in the new extension. They did come one week later and fix cat flap and draughty door and the overall job - when finished - was very good but I didn't like being fobbed off by the fitter who just didn't want to help, just do the job get the cheque and get off.
