Good Points: Quality, accuracy, consistency, beautiful wood stock, gas spring power.
Bad Points: None
General comments: The Beeman RX-2 is one of the finest guns out there IMO. I have shot several other adult air rifles and when you shoot this fine piece of work you feel the quality, you see the accuracy. Getting consistent with the rifle takes some getting used to but after reading reviews at www.straightshooters.com and other sites you can pick up tips on how to handle the rifle with confidence. Beeman outfitted this gun with a gas spring rather than a traditional spring so you can leave it cocked for long periods of time without damaging the spring as in a traditional adult rifle. If you have not shot a .25 caliber adult air rifle you are in for a surprise. The energy from this size of pellet is amazing. I give this gun a very high rating because it's that nice of a gun although it will set you back anywhere from $500-$700 it's worth it. The .25 is no longer in production but some places still have them in stock. One improvement that I would have liked to see is a large muzzle break for a better grip while stroking the 58lbs to cock the gun. Being a fairly large guy at 6'4" and 250 lbs cocking this rifle does not bother me.
