    AEG Lavamat 74810 has 21 Programs for Everything
    1400 rpm
    timer screen
    quiet machine
    i recomend it to anybody,
    bit expensive

    I cannot convey how stupid, irritating, annoying I found the bleeping on this AEG Lavamat 74810. It is utterly pointless and it does it constantly. My neighbours even complained as I'd set the machine to wash when I went to work in the morning. It was still bleeping when I returned 8 hours later. Neighbours complained they had to listen to it all day. What on EARTH IS THE POINT OF THAT AEG? CARE TO EXPLAIN THAT 'BRAINWAVE'?!?

    I hate washing, reason being is I know that at the end of the cycle I will be tormented with the non-stop,l persistent, annoying and really LOUD acoustic signal from the Lavamat 74810. This is the most useless and annoying feature on a washing machine EVER. it doesn't beep once, or twice but non-stop until you stop whatever you're doing, whether it's cooking your dinner, showering, watching TV and go and turn the machine off.

    I hate it and according to AEG you can't turn this idiotic feature ...

    This machine broke down four times within five months of purchasing and the service from AEG was abominable. Each time the machine broke down it took AEG's engineers 7 - 12 days to visit and repair. Each time we requested a replacement but this was refused till the very last and fourth occurrence. We lost hundreds of pounds with: a) the machine breaking down overnight while full of dirty water and clothes b) time off work to meet repairmen.

    Easy to use and operate.
    There are programmes for just about everything including a cold wash. All the options are easy to select.
    There is even a warning light if you used too much detergent in the previous wash.
    I tend to mainly use the 40 degree wash and although the spin is fixed at 1000 the clothes are less creased and take less ironing.
