HP is an awesome brand. I had a dell. It didn't last longer so I had to buy another laptop. This time I went for a cheaper machine and it is a HP. It works perfectly and to me way too better than what I had previously. I simply love it… Read Full Review

Finding myself needing a new printer in February 2015 I looked at a number of makes and models, amongst which I liked most a Hewlett Packard one but it was a bit over my budget. However, I found mention of a £40 Cashback offer if I bought direct from HP, although there was conflicting information online as to when the offer ended. Some pages said 31 January, some said 30 April. At this point the complexities of dealing with HP should have warned me off them. If you look for information on… Read Full Review

I have been continuously disappointed with my HP laptop. It lacked performance right from the beginning. I ordered it to come with i5 processors and it came with i3's, if I wouldn't have known how to check I would have never known. Then the blue ray software stopped working within the first year. It has always been glitchy. For the last year or so, it has been installing the same update, over and over again. The original battery is dead and gone after two years. I bought an extended warranty… Read Full Review

I thought HP was a trusted brand and thought they were renouned for good quality make. I purchased the compaq pressario CQ61 which is made by HP. After the first year the screen started to go, and it kept on over heating and then would switch off on its own. This was just after the warranty so HP did nothing. I took it to a shop and paid £100 and they replaced the fan and said the graphic card has died and it would be better for me to purchase a new laptop as graphic cards cost around £400… Read Full Review

bought a hp laptop...17e135nr...trouble right out of the box....unable to successfully burn cd after ripping...practically no tech support from hp helpline number....called a total of 6 times with 6 different stories on product malfunction[the best story being that it was Microsoft not allowing burning capabilities due to copyright infringement issues with artists]...product still under warranty as I bought about 2 weeks before trouble began and it wouldn't work the first time I used… Read Full Review

Recently I purchased an HP Microserver. Unfortunately it developed a fault with the on board graphics. It was referred back to the seller (eBuyer) who were very helpful. They put me in touch with HP tech support. They were really courteous, knowledgeable and helpful and quickly sent the needed paperwork for a replacement to be sent. Sadly the replacement developed a different fault, to do with the memory slot After testing I phoned their customer services who put me thought to a very helpful… Read Full Review

HP are dreadful that is why. I bought a top end HP model for over £1000 several years ago. It broke down in 6 months. The mother board fried. Luckily, it was within warranty but 6 months....come on. They fixed it. However, less than a year later I got the black screen of death. No longer in warranty. I checked online it was a known malfunction which HP refused to take ownership of per many consumer websites. I have since bought a Dell for 1/4 of the cost and it has lasted double the… Read Full Review

Two years ago I bought a Compaq Presario CQ61 403SA laptop from Hewlett Packard, 3 weeks ago the screen failed to come on, as I am pretty technically minded and competent with computers I did all the necessary checks and the only thing I thought it could be was the inverter. With that in mind I bought the part myself fit it but the screen still did not come back on, that is when I decided to email Hewlett Packard and exercise my Consumer rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. About 3 days… Read Full Review

wanted to buy a couple of computers for work and was recommended HP by our IT specialist. Having contacted HP a number of times their sales department is just absolutely terrible. No information forthcoming. No interest in trying to sell. Have tried to complain but as I didn't have a serial number the complaint couldn't be logged. Have e-mailed their executive team anly received an automated response that someone would get back to me. This is now 1 1/2 month ago and not a word. Have since… Read Full Review

I bought a Hewlett Packard notebook and I have regretted it ever since. I deliberately spent a decent amount of money on it to try and ensure that I had a quality product. The one that I picked was a DV51110EM, which has a blue-ray DVD player. If I had rated this when I first purchased it I would have given it a good rating. It looks very nice and was easy to set up.
However, less than a year on it is unusable. It appears to be poorly made as more and more things just keep going wrong… Read Full Review

Think of a very very long bargepole. Got it? A bargepole that would take a family of 5 all of their combined strength to lift from one end. Now double it. It's massive, right? OK now with that bargepole, if you could even touch one product from Hewlett Packard then my advice is do not. The products are sh*te and their after sales service are sh*te also. So there you are. You have been suitably advised.
Cheers. Bill. Have a Merry Christmas… Read Full Review

I must start by saying that I am writing this from the viewpoint of someone who works in IT and is dealing with business machines and servers.
I have supported HP machine for over 10 years now back when they were Compaq. I have had mixed feelings about there equipment over the years. At first I hated them as they used non standard parts, then I loved them when there EP range used standard chassis and were very upgradable. They have reverted back to their old style now with lots of non… Read Full Review

I just bought a brand new Hewlett Packard laptop. The screen on the one I bought malfunctioned within 2 weeks of use. I'm sitting here 4 weeks later with still no laptop - while it's been sitting with them for repair. I had a dell for years and never any significant issue and good support from them when needed. The service from HP is about the worst I've come across in relation to any big company… Read Full Review
