    Good Points: Comfort, Bass, Design

General comments: I got these headphones along with an IPod Nano for Christmas and have to say I am very happy with the sound reproduction, nice highs and clear deep bass. (I have never heard bass so deep on in ear headphones!) A few people here have noted that the headphones do not stay in their ears? Personally, I had problems with traditional style in ear headphones but these stay exactly where they are and a tip has not come off (or close to it) yet?

I would definitely recommend these headphones but I am a big Bose fan having also recently purchased the Bose Lifestyle V30 entertainment system which is also awesome!

I added a pair of in ear plugs from a pair of Samsung headphones...they now fit/work a treat, if only that bass wasn't so bad!!! Try this yourselves yourself it does work, the plugs that are foam are the best, saying that tho should you have to do this to high end product?? would like to hear a comment from bose themselves... gauntlet down to them!?!

Firstly, lets talk about the design. The Bose TriPort IE comes with a pouch and 3 ear-tip sizes.
I really like the black and white cord because it's pretty useful when you have a lot of wires sticking out of your computer and you need to find the headphone wire.
The ear-tips in my opinion are different from other earphones. It feels as if you're not wearing earphones but it is there.
    Now, the sound.
I have yet to hear cracking sounds when listening to music. Be it the music being to loud etc ...

Bose claim to have spent years researching the best fit in the ear but the problem is they don't unless you sit perfectly still! But by far the most infuriating aspect is that the plastic moulded tips constantly fall off. They are not secured properly and you lose them in the gym, getting out of the car etc. I have gone through three plastic tips in three weeks and am now returning this product to the Apple store where I purchased it.

I own a lot of Bose stuff because of the outstanding quality but these fall well short of the mark. It hasn't put me off buying other Bose products but it has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Being the owner of a pair of B&O headphones, that I use on my iPod, I decided to go to my local Bose shop in Portsmouth and listen to the Bose Triport IE phones. What a welcome I received from the very attractive female sales person. Having told her what I wanted, she informed me that I could listen to the headphones,( as the ear bods had been disinfected) on the numerous mp3 systems available in the shop, I said that, that was okay, as I had brought my own iPod. Placed the ear pods in my ear, p ...
