    we have visited many holiday camps over the years but this was the cleanest we have ever been too. the entertainment was fantastic and the staff and food were superb we will definitelybe booking another holiday at stanwix in the not too distant future.thank you stanwix it was just what the doctor ordered.

    Stanwix park itself looks really clean and tidy. The toilet blocks are not very clean throughout the day, the only time they are clean is first thing in the morning. The complex looks clean, but the pool is not. You pay £6.00 per day or evening to get into the complex, even if you are not using the facilities, you have to pay £6.00 to get in to have a drink, which I think is out of order. Would not recommend to anyone who is working on a low budget, very expensive.

    Just come back from Stanwix Park this is our fouth visit. I was very disapointed in the caravan it was a 2008 model which i have stayed in before, we had to get the house maid back out to clean it, if you could call it that. It took me and my family 2 hours to claen the caravan from top to bottom, there was dust a least an inch thick on doors and fire blanket, toffee wrappers left lying around,coffee stains on wall and ceiling. Staff at reception not happy to assist you when you are complaining ...

    I think the Stanwix Park Holiday Centre caravan park is really good been there twice when I was younger and had a really good time both times. Comin back hopefully at the end of the year as i know i will have a good time there.

    We have been going to Stanwix Park for 17 years using own tourer,the apartments and the static caravans.We have found every year there is an improvement to the site.Our children have fond memories and their partners are now enjoying the site too. Our grandson of one has been numerous times already .The standard through out the entire park has been has maintained .Every one who we recommendend to the site has returned . We hope to enjoy many more years at this top park.

    We stayed in one of the ground floor apartments at Stanwix Park Holiday Centre over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend and it was very clean and tidy and well equipped.
    The apartments are very close to the entertainment complex but the complex must be well insulated for sound as there was no disturbance.

    Would recommend and would visit again.

    Visited Stanwix Park Holiday Centre, Silloth, April 2009 for the first time and thought it was fantastic. We took our tourer and found the gravel pitches to be fully serviced, level, clean & well maintained.There is plenty for children to do come rain or shine and the staff are enthusiastic, smart and helpful.     Stanwix Park Holiday Centre is a Clean, extremely well maintained park with friendly staff and wide range of facilities.
    Good pool, well stocked shop, clean caravans, well maintained park areas.
    Changing facilities for pool too small, park in middle of nowhere yet described as 'ideal base for touring lake district'

    Everything about stanwix park is great. I would really recomend it to everyone it is suitable for all ages and has alot to do!
    I go to stanwix every year and have never been bored! It is a great place to go to and I love it I will never get tired of that place and I am going back again this year (not a suprise). All the staff are kind and great! The food is brill! I especially love the chips hehe they are lush. They have great facilities but I really think they should get a dance mat in the arca ...

    We didn't want to come home and actually tried to book an extra day, but the caravan we were staying in was already booked for that day. We will definitely be going back next year.
    If you're after a great family orientated holiday then this place is ideal. My Husband's Father and girlfriend were staying at a hotel nearby and came over one night. They wished they had stayed at the same place as us instead of a "stuffy hotel".

    Stanwix Park Holiday Centre is clean and lots of fun ! No bad points. Overall very good, will be back and would recommend.

    Its all been said before we will be returning hoping to see the sames faces and enjoy the fun times we shared here as a family. We hope the standards remain the same in the restaurant, maybe a few more healthy options? But overall we'll definitely be back!

    I booked us in at Stanwix Park Holiday Centre as a last minute weekend break through Hoseasons. I wouldn't recommend the local Chinese takeaway. I went in and ordered our meals and was still sitting there 1 hour 15 minutes later. Lots of people were coming in to collect and order, they were being told it wasn't ready. One person even commented that he, could have driven home to Glasgow for a takeaway and driven back to Silloth quicker! Local fish and chips were fabulous as was the Pizza. ...
