We stayed overnight on 18th March 2008 at the Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel. I need a gluten free diet and am allergic to nuts and elder berries/ flowers. I spoke to the chef and was given the menu highlighted with suitable food and had a most enjoyable meal as did others in our party. Excellent service with being over the top, comfortable chairs and tables. An excellent eating experience with beautifully presented cuisine thats taste matched the artistry. Too often food might look good but have no taste. This was not the case - a lovely evening. One can then retire to the lounge area for a really relaxed after dinner chat with riends and family.
Our collie dog was also catered for as the Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel set aside a few rooms where dogs and owners may reside and a grassed area for them to exercise.
Nant Ddu is situated in wonderful countryside and has a real feel of the area but at the same time one can be cossetted by a range of spa treatments, use the swimming pool or wonderful jacuzzi and solarium.
If good intentions are the plan why not spend an hour with the personal trainer. He was able to give me a plan to suit (I have various physical 'problems' that inhibit me from running) that would enable me to reach an aerobic level of exercise and is happy for me to telephone for further advice.
An excellent overnight package!
