Good Points: The manager at this online shop is quick to respond, and like many Germans I have done business with, straight talking.
Products are genuine, fairly priced, well packaged Belstaff goods.
Good communication, and slick looking site with a good product range.

Bad Points: Pictures are not as detailed or numerous as many other websites - could do with detail on the pictures when spending a fortune on a Belstaff jacket.
Payment. I am assured that Gotlands online will have a credit card payment system by Christmas 2007, until then - bank transfer to Germany only!

General comments: I took a gamble with the Gotlands Belstaff website based on the professional communication I had from the manager. He was not only quick to respond, but also gave me enough confidence to send £300 without the guarantee of getting anything in return. I'm sure I had a crazy day that day, as I would be the first person to instruct a friend never, ever to do that!! I checked the company out as far as I could, and learnt that the manager actually had a Gotlands company registered in the UK too, maybe that's why I felt more confident.

The item came, tracked online by DHL so I could watch the progress, and arrived at exactly the time Gotlands said it would. The item was in a genuine Belstaff box, with all the tags and everything else you would expect to find on one of these jackets. Well, I only bought the jacket a couple of months ago, but I love it, and know it will last me for years and years. I would advise trying a couple of jackets on to get your size exactly right before purchasing as I did.

Even though my transaction went OK, I would never advise anybody reading this to send money by bank transfer to someone you don't know, because you'll more often than not lose it. But if you are going to, then at least this company has come up with the goods to one satisfied customer.

Before I bought the item, I tried to find reviews of this site in English, but I was unable to, that's why I am writing this one. I even tried to search on German review sites using good translation, but it was probably searching completely the wrong thing.
