  This Rimmel Cool Matte Mousse Foundation is great, if you are looking for one that gives high coverage. Many have criticised on how the foundation "was hard to blend in" or "did not look nice afterwards". Yes,I found it a little bit harder to rub in. I found If you use primer before hand or a moisturiser, I had no difficulty blending in at all. Furthermore, after using this product my skin looked completly blemish free and my face looked like it had a natural glow. However, i do agree with some points, the colours are extremely light, i would normally go for the ivory shade. Ive bought two, one in ivory and one in pale biscuit i put the ivory foundation where i have redness and under my eyes and then pale biscuit on the rest of my face.

  I have acne and cool matt mousse covers it well. My skin tone is even and my face is smooth. I really like this kind of foundation. Some times it is hard to blend, but I just add a bit of lotion and I am good to go. Color selection is difficult. I am usually the lightest ivory, but with this foundation, I am sad 103.

  Rimmel Cool Matte Mousse Foundation is very hard to blend. It doesn't look like your skin... hard to explain.
  
  Even when matched to your skin colour it's still very obvious that you're wearing foundation. It looks almost as if you have talc on your skin :S
  
  it is NOT a mousse. More of an oily thick liquid or jelly foundation =/
  
  after a few hours it had worn off in patches and my skin looked blotchy and nasty. It doesn't really eliminate red tones OR disguise blemishes.
  
  Bad points are not mouss ...

  I've read a lot of bad reviews about this product but I actually really like it. The jar states a mousse - but to be specific it is not the exact same consistency as say a chocolate mousse. The texture is light and does have a whipped appearance in the jar. If you shake the small jar around the product does not move put it that way. I have very pale sensitive skin and this product has not irritated my skin at all. The colour is lovely, I find lots of "ivory" products are too orangey and cheap ...

  Before I tell you about it, I would like to tell that I have used almost every make up product. I got this foundation thinking it to be good, but all my hopes were destroyed as soon as I used it. I got it from super drug it was on sale so I was more convinced to get it. I tried it on and it had a cool feeling but it was not a mousse, it says its mousse but its sort of a liquid foundation, but if it worked I would have not minded that.   This foundation is ok. Although it doesn't cover spots very well, it works well at evening out uneven skintone, rosy cheeks etc. I find it is only effective if you use with a concealer AND powder. For 5 pounds it is reasonable but i wouldn't recommend it. If you have dry skin it works well but doesn't stay put on more greasy skin. Overall a thumbs down.

  Rimmel Cool Matte Mousse Foundation leaves the skin uneven. It doesn't blend with the skin, and it's too visible. It's the worst foundation that I have ever tried. I had to remove it immediately because I couldn't go out with it!
