“Horrendous coverage for data/ voice calls ”

“Terrible service !”

I had been with O2 for 8 years. I was on payg until last year so I joined pay monthly on O2 refresh. I discovered I frequently lost signals for no reasons ? So I'd decided to pay off the phone and went back on payg! I was trying to get the number which I had been using it for years....I phoned up customer service, they sent me a sim which I was told my number would be ported onto the new sim? “Rubbish customer service, coverage terrible...”

I joined o2 in 2008 and to be honest, when I first joined them, they were brilliant, the customer service was fantastic for a start (you used to get really good deals staying loyal) and the service was always reliable to. Fast forward to about 2012 and something happened, god knows what and o2 have just turned to absolute rubbish. Been with O2 for around ten years. Had questions relating to my last two bills so contacted Customer "Service". I waited a very long time before I actually spoke to somebody whose only advice was to refer me to a third party. The third party agreed that the call charges were incorrect and agreed to make a full refund but said that they had only billed o2 around 60% of the charges made on my bill and that the balance was an o2 charge. “3 Months with no coverage at home!”

Been with O2 since 2009 with no problems. Suddenly in March neither I nor the caller could understand each other, connection lasted for about 30 seconds, after which there was about 15 seconds silence before the call cut out. After numerous phone calls to customer services they finally admitted there was a fault at a recently erected nearby mast but it couldn't be repaired because of a Health and Safety issue regarding access, but can't tell me what this is, and cannot give me any information… Read Full Review

They are by far the worst customer service centre I have ever dealt with. I eventually wrote to the MD and that got things moving. I have called thois week and spoken to 4 different advisors and each tells me the problem is sorted. It isn`t. Don`t touch them with a barge pole. I am due to change in October and i`m going. I to rate o2, recommended them on more than one occasion. More fool me! I today tried to work out a deal for my tariff to return to the cheaper one it was last year and to see if I could sign up for another contract phone too. changed contract with 02 on to a cheaper tarrif and to get a new phone told the salesman I didn't want phone insurance and guess what was on my 1st bill phone insurance so went back in shop and cancelled my contract and made sure they took my new address. Several months ago, I ordered a PAYG 4G Tablet SIM online from O2. When I followed up, via online chat, they asked me for an order number. Their 'Send me my free SIM' process doesn't provide the customer with an order number, just a confirmation number. This is, apparently, not enough to track it. I bought an iPhone 5s from O2. My first problem was that they sent the phone to the wrong address. Following this, the iPhone I did receive was faulty, and kept turning itself off once the battery dropped below 75%. When I requested swapping this in store they told me I could not, and I could only request a doorstop exchange. “Terrible customer service”

Since joining O2 last year, I have continually experienced problems with a faulty handset. The phone has been 'repaired' twice but still doesn't work properly. Almost everyone I have sought assistants from to help solve my problem has been rude, dismissive and largely unhelpful. I cannot wait for my contract to be up so that I can leave. Not only have I been left on hold for over 20 minutes on numerous occasions, I have also been given incorrect information and managers seem to be unable to call back as promised. I would never recommend O2 service to my friends or anyone. Terrible Service, they not only does not protect customer's private information but also give negative comment while they're not relevant. Firstly, I signed a contract for Iphone 5s with relatively high cost 5 months ago, almost 42pounds. But the service is not good as I expected. They do that when I lost my phone, I and my insurance company call them together, they conclude by themselve and talk to the insurance company that I can't claim the new one, after that I give up the contract, never úe again
