I really like the 'Lend us a Quid' option that gives you £1 if your credit is under 50p, just call 4444 and select Lend us a Quid. I don't like the call charge at 25p a minute, god knows how much they charge when you are abroad. The texting charge is standard, 10p. Another annoyance is you cannot top up £5, only £10, £15, £20, £25, £30, £35, £40, £45 and £50. So they are the best network out there and I would choose them, just don't be surprised buy the charges mounting up.

Changed to 02 from another network due to bad coverage,02 sales person (they cold called me)promised best coverage in my area. Have never been happy, am unable ever to make or receive voice calls within my home and can only get signal if I stand in middle of the road, if I'm lucky. Also no signal in many other areas. When complaining today was told there was nothing they could/would do as I should not expect to use my mobile phone for calls at home!!! Why did their sales person not mention th ...

Been with 02 for nearly 4 years. Having 2 contract phones with them. There customer service is appauling and extremely rude people. Upgraded my daughters phone in May online. They tell you that you get a better deal this way. Absolute rubbish!! Upgraded to a Blackberry Curve. Within in 2 days the phone was faulty and was sent another no problems.Decided to take insurance out with 02 for £7.50 a month. This was done over the phome. In September the phone switches itself off and wont come ba ...

I have been with O2 since 2003 and never had any complaints until now. When I phoned to renew my contract again, they seem to have priced themselves out of the competative market. I wanted a fair deal for my loyalty, nothing for free, I dont expect that. So when I was asked to pay £15 more per month for a slightly above average phone, I didnt think so. I pointed out that I could get the same phone from another network for a fiver less than I had been paying. I was told that I paid fo ...

O2 offers the most expensive tariffs in the industry (in the UK) for the least amount of talk time and texts for mobile phone contracts. Although their signal coverage is good, their customer service is appalling, and their broadband speeds are sub-1MB/sec if you don't happen to live in a major city. They offer the iPhone, and i can think of no reason to stay with them once the iPhone is offered by other companies.

Having spoken recently with a customer service representative, I was informed th ...

Although I feel the customer service was appauling. I found the actual network in itself, the total opposite. the signal coverage is perfect. The value for money, I feel, is great. I have the Iphone 3g 8GB in black on it, I paid £0 one off and I pay £34 a month for 24 months. Getting me 500 Sms units, 600 minutes and unlimited wifi, internet usage.

The customer service was very unhelpful. I phoned up in request of the status of my order, getting the wrong number out of the THOUSANDS ...

I was on a £15/month contract with O2 and when I decided to move to another provider, I was told that O2 will charge me £15 for the remainder of the one month that was left on my contract. I agreed as I wanted to move to another provider who were offering a much better deal. But now O2 has charged me £30/month.They said is a system generated charge and nothing can be done about it. They gave me conflicting information on three occasions and this is a new way to get more money ou ...

I decided to try 02 PAYG on 22/12/2006 after being with Vodafone for many years to enable a better signal coverage area, we travel a lot being retired and use our motorhome to see as much of the U.K as possible. Being on 2 networks meant almost full signal coverage. Trouble is due to illness and problems with the motorhome we have not been able to travel as much as we would have liked in 2009. Hence our 02 connection has been cut off due to not making any calls within a 6 month period and they h ...

I'm on an iphone 3g plan.

Often no reception on Friday afternoons/evenings and never when in the vicinity of a football game. It is unacceptable to not be able to make/receive calls or messages for 2 hours at a time.

Customer service is even worse than the reception.

Do yourself a favour and avoid o2 like the plague!

I am with O2 for littler more than 18 months through rubbish Phones for you. The phone was Sony ericson K850 i which is another rubbish phone which ahs always problem with touch screen and charging issues.
When my contract was over they din't even have the courtesy for renewal. and their upgrade phones are useless except iphone and no offer for existing customers on any plan including SIM only plan. Because of iphone , they take it for granted and of little he ...

I had to terminate my contract today after being bullied by the person at O2 complaints department in Leeds! He was forceful, aggressive and kept telling me not to talk over him when I wanted to get the facts through and explain the problem. All the phones I had with them were faulty but they did not want to know about it. I had been phoneless for 4 weeks due to yet another faulty phone they sent me but they did not want to know about it. I have lost faith in this company and do not want to r ...

O2 is a Poor mobile broadband service. The connection constantly drops for no discernible reason.

There is very little guidance on how to set up the service on a Mac.

The main issue is really with the unreliability of the service; I never know how long it will take me to download something, and I spent way too much time having to monitor the quality of reception.

I would certainly not recommend this service to anyone, unless they enjoy being stressed.

People on pay and go with iPhone 3g or 3gs... Unlock your iPhone using the free softwares provided by Dev-Team and change provider because O2's 3G is ridiculously slow... Btw whoever sells software unlock method for the iPhones uses dev-team's softwares so never pay for it it's free always......

I have been with O2 for many years now and have usually experienced fairly good CS, but this time they've excelled themselves! I think it depends on who deals with your 'case' as I've also had 'abrupt' conversations too.

This last time I'd returned a bad Pixon, was adviced to get the N96 from one CS person, but found it was being taken off market (bad mark there!, but the next CS I spoke to was superb! he went out of his way to make sure I was kept up to date with the returns situation and the ...
