Good Points: An interesting plot
Bad Points: Poor character development. Choppy sentences. About 3rd grade level writing.
General comments: Very poor for James Patterson. Did not seem like his writing. Never did identify with a character. Seemed like a gothic romance with a murder-mystery twist. Characters kept making silly decisions, very unbelievable. Will hesitate to buy other James Patterson co-authored books. I threw the hardcover away - wouldn't even pass it along.

The Quickie is, just like Pattersons previous bestsellers, a quick, enjoyable compelling read.
