    I have had the Nationwide Business credit card since June and I have had nothing but terrible service. I opened the card to transfer a balance from another card. That was in June, here we are in September and the balance transfer did not go through. They put in a second request and that has not gone through. I have been billed and made a payment on a balance transfer that never took place. Now my account balance shows TWO transfers that NEVER happened!! Every time I speak to a representative I am told that it is on their screen that a credit is being issued, but instead they just charge me. They owe ME money and somehow NO ONE is capable of resolving the problem. I guess Nationwide will be next on the bailout list. Terrible service!!!! I would not even recommend this card to my worst enemy!

    Like to keep my account with Nationwide despite no internet access.

    Forced to change because the account can not support a direct debit. VAT will have to be paid electronically if turnover is 100K or more from 2010.

    Have opened an acount with Abbey - and already having misgivings...but at least its free.

    Local and pay in cash as well as cheques and my card takings.
    So far. No long queueing.
    I worry that they may be not interested in helping the small customer may be they might change their mind eith the credit crunch.

    Personal counter service, rarely have to queue, manager at my local Nationwide knows me, can call branch - no call centres, reliable, open Saturdays, not in trouble! One of only 2 banks in my local town now that the big boys have pulled out.
    Banking like it used to be: A friendly, personal, local service.

    Been with Nationwide Business Investor for about 10 years - never had an issue. Statements always acurate, no overcharges, always ready to help. Interest rate not as competitive as it used to be. Telephone service is OK, but internet banking would make this a truly perfect account for the small business.

    Nationwide Business Account is straightforward and uncomplicated with an efficient and friendly service. Good for a very small business like mine
