I've just purchased an HW90K, after getting rid of my umarex 850 (didn't like it - plastic and a pain to keep buying those cannisters) , which is what i can compare it to...

As has been said elsewhere the HW90K is a man's gun - not lightweight, but the sort of gun you'll keep for 20 years (I plan to!) Makes the Umarex look like a pop-gun!

I purchased this rifle to remedy my grey-squirrel problem. Although I'm still getting used to it & shooting targets there is no doubt that it will do the job fine. Nice flat trajectory - at least until 20 yards.

Beautiful finish and build - again, something that makes one want to look after it.

Lastly, the automatic safety catch is really a must have imho.

Highly recommended - the last air rifle I plan to purchase!

The Weihrauch HW90K has very good build quality, with a superb trigger and grip. Feels strong and robust, however a sling is recommende as it ways a fair bit. Perfect for rabbit, crow, pidgeon and squirrels, they fall like a treat!!

I'm new to the air rifle world... but this Weihrauch HW90K instantly felt awsome in my grip. took about 10 mins to zero in at about 30ft. and has remained that way since. its nice and quiet, so it doesn't scare whatever your shooting at away. great!

I love Weirauch Air Rifles, i have owned many and not one of them was a bad rifle.

I wanted a Gas Ram power plant but i didnt want a Theoben as A) they are overpriced and B) the triggers are not a patch on the Rekord trigger unit used by Weirauch in thier models (i appreciate that the trigger unit on the HW90 was made specifically to cater for the marriage of the Theoben Gas ram and the HW90K build quality, but it is still better then the trigger unit on a theoben.

The Weihrauch HX90K is a very good gun and well worth having. Its powerful and accurate and I found it really comfortable to hold. There are no bad points.

Bought this gun second hand after alot of expensive messing about with a pcp, see aa s410 review. It took a little practice for me to achieve the accuracy i was after, but with a consistant light hold and follow through, i am able to group inside an inch at 50yds off bench with cusion an gloved hand. 35yrds is no problem in normal conditions. overall im very happy with it, I would highly recomend it .

Years ago i shot with the original Weihrauch hw90, this new hw90k is a
peach compared to the old bruiser. Weihrauch never disappoint. yes there is a weight problem but when your enjoying your hunting you do not notice it.this is a mans gun and not a boys toy.i have had no problem setting my scopes though i still can not decide on which pellet is best through the barrel.go on treat youself to a bit of german magic.

As usual with the Weihrauch brand safe first. Well made bit of kit and so accurate but they do tend to be a bit on the heavy side. A bloody good all rounder.

I got this gun in 25 Caliber for bigger animals, Raccons, possums, Woodchucks. So far all one or two shot kills all to the body. No lost animals could not be happier. Tried different pellets. 30 gr kodiacks 552fps, I don't like the heavy pellets but they are accurate. 24-25gr pellets 615 fps. I like the silver arrow pointed pellets for raccons, excellent penetration in the heavily built animals. All one shot kills all the raccons and very accurate, much better than my standard velocity 22 rimfir ...

It's been a long time since I've owned an air rifle in fact it's been about 23 years so I wouldn't call myself a sharp shooter by any means. But with my Weihrauch HW90K with 3x9x50 scopes I don't have to be. I zero my scope at about 75 ft and can hit a target roughly the same size as a 50 pence piece every time. Please don't be fooled into thinking I achieved that overnight, it has taken me a while to get used to the weight and the recoil of this rifle. I have probably shot about 1000 pellets so ...

Firstly I must say that I have not owned an HW90k since 1998! However, I can say that I have had some of my greatest hunting moments while looking down the barrel of this great rifle. Having bought a TX200HC one Xmas and finding it to be awkward and slow to reload in the field I decided to trade it in for the more workmanlike HW90k. At first I was a little disappointed in its apperance, not a bad reflection of the 90, more the stunning finish of the TX I had owned. However, in the field, its bal ...

I bought a Weihrauch HW90 .25 cal second hand that was 10 months old. I tried to zero it at 25 yards with and without a scope and the best I could achieve was 5 inches c-t-c!! The pressure in the gas ram is 26 bar and I use H&N match pellets. Anyone had the same problem and any idea about what is wrong with this gun? I hope I can change it into a HW100 .22 cal paying the price difference at the Weihrauch shop where it was bought. I do not trust this gun and was planning to go hunting for pigeons ...

But now I need some specific info. Are the Weihrauch HW90k (UK) and the FAC the same gun? Do they have different internals or is the 12FTlb version just a DETUNED VERSION OF THE SAME GUN?

I want to take this gun back to SA and there I will have no restriction, Can I then 'pump up' this 12 lb gun or not?
