Good Points: It works, but so did my Orange Savvy in 1998!

Bad Points: Pathetic predictive text memory renders texting a slow and frustrating experience!

General comments: My Sony Ericcson K800 had a better camera than the Samsung G600. It is not all about pixel quantity! It also had a far better predictive text memory. I spent £130 of my hard earnt cash on a 5 star rated phone. No one mentions the pathetic memory which renders predictive texting slow and frustrating!! Is there not a single phone reviewer out there I can trust to do a thorough review!? I think not!

This Samsung G600 phone is sleek and stylish and although it chips and scratches easily, it is quite tough and hard-wearing. It has expandable memory and an MP3 player, which doesn't have the best volume in the world but it will do, as well as a 5MP camera (not 3 - where did you get 3 from?) which isn't really very good quality, but it takes pictures and records videos, which is what you expect of a camera. It has great features, like a theme creator and voice recorder, which all work well, so t ...

I really don't know why people are leaving such bad reviews! The Delta Airlines has a 5mp camera (it even says in the booklet i'm looking at now) so i don't know where the idea of the 3mp came from.. the camera is good i reckon, however the only reason your picture looks rubbish and unclear when you've took it is because you havn't yet saved it, the image also looks better when the flash is on rather than off because the colour is more precise. Make sure once you have got the phone all the setti ...

I used to like this Samsung G600 phone s lot, untill i started discovering problems with it. The screen kept freezing for example. It also radomly turns itself off. When i recieve a call the place you listen into goes completely soundless and you cannot speak or hear anything!

My Samsung G600 is in repair due to broken camera and broken software, this fone freezes it's rubbish. It feels like it is made from recycled cups. YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED WITH IT!

The camera is good, you half press the button down and it focuses then you click the button. You cannot add new message received tones, you are stuck with 4 rubbish preset ones. At first I loved this Samsung G600 phone.

I have almost had this phone now for 18 months so will be away to replace this with another. To being with this phone was fine, I find these Samsung phones easy to use hence why I picked the G600. I agree with the comment below however about some application not being in an obvious place as I have found myself searching for something a few times. I like the look of this phone, buttons and the clear screen. After a few months I had to send this phone back as it forgot it's predictive text memo ...

I've had the Samsung G600 phone for around 8 months and must say IT'S THE WORST PHONE I'VE HAD FOR YEARS..!!Sure, you can take 5mp photos (albiet blurry at full resolution) but eveything is a pain. The camera takes far too long to take the picture, even on low res - gauranteeing that the moment has passed once the phone has actually taken the picture. The menu system is all wrong. Finding exact areas is a hit and miss venture with applications placed in illogical areas.Predictive texters, like me ...

I originally brought this Samsung G600 phone as it was a good deal ( £90 + £20 Film Voucher) i bought it because it had everything i needed in a phone. Not having used Samsung before i was expecting a great phone, but they truly do lack quality compared to Sony Ericsson in my opinion, of who i used for the past 2 years until February when i brought the Samsung G600. The battery life lasts a day if you use it none stop, we'll use this experiment i did on the 10th March 09 I went to t ...

I found the Samsung G600 to have poor memory and battery life, as I was always having to charge phone every other day. Try and save music but always comes up memory full so very frustrating, i have found this to be the worst samsung that i have had would not recommend this phone, I was very disappointed by samsung as past phones have been great.

The G600 is a handy size but larger than my E600 Samsung which I upgraded from, the volume is not loud enough for me, especially when stored in a handbag, and I just cannot find the 64 polyphonic Ringtones to choose from - any idea's welcome. I find the battery life is small, but I note someone has suggested a good 12hour charge. As for the Camera, it is an auto-focus system, so one has to hold the phone very still when in use for taking photographs, overall it appears to handle well, had to do ...

I couldn't resist the Samsung G600 on the new £8.50 montly contract with Virgin. I have the pink/silver version. The camera is pretty decent but you can only edit photos if they are on your phone. I have to keep moving photos about. The music player is also good and you can set playlists etc with format of mp3, wma etc. I never did use the itunes on my Motorola V3im so I don't miss it. You can also use mp3s as user id. I can't say much about battery life as I only had it yesterday. ...

On the whole this Samsung G600 is a really good one, mine is in pink. I like the way you can hold up to 100 memo's (1000 characters each), and it gives you the date when you created it, the to-do list in the calender and all the others, for anniversary dates it tells you how many days are left. And when a calender alarm goes off, it offers you to confirm or ignore until the next time an alarm goes off, so you don't have to do it there and then. When you get a text you can set it to repetition un ...

I really liked this Samsung G600 ,except its poor reception compared to my old phone, that is unti it started freezing up on me,screen turning black when anyone called, switching itself off.Sent it off to samsung, got it back after almost 3weeks with a note saying it had a software update. It worked fine for almost 3months,now the problem seems to have returned!

The Samsung G600 is a nice, slim design, great camera, upgradeable memory via mem slot. I opted for this phone over a nokia due to the battery life, but after all the problems that Ive had with this phone, I will be switching back to nokia for good this time.I guess I can always buy a spare battery if needed for a nokia, but this samsung is just a nightmare problemwise. Had to send to samsung after 12months as it kept freezing up on me, not even 3 months after getting it back its doing it with th ...

Altogether i think Samsung G600 is great and is a awesome fashionable item. With its great 5 megapixel camera with flash you are able to take great pictures where ever you are. The phone has a great design and has a smooth slide to it. The features are great and i would recomend anyone who is looking for a sleek sliding camera phone to get this phone. I love the 5 megapixel camera. It has great features also on the camera, alot more than most phones. Also with the ability to create your own the ...
