Good Points: Murdero is a fun game that involves both strategy and luck. It has some similarities to the Mystery Rummy series, but the use of the Action Cards gives the game great replayability. My wife and I enjoy MR: Jekyll and Hyde, and we think that Murdero will be a game that we also will play for quite a while. It has simple rules but constantly gives the player tough decisions, and you have to be able to shift strategies on short notice. Your opponent can sometimes finish a case and end the hand much sooner than you would want, and if you are not careful, you'll end up with too many unplayed cards in your hand. But if you play some cards too soon, you could allow your opponent to collect and discard part of a meld that you were about to complete! If you like games like Lost Cities, Battle Line and others by the designer Reiner Knitzia, you will probably like Murdero. Even though Murdero is a rummy variant, unlike the Knitzia games, it also makes the player focus on what to do next, even when any play seems like a bad one. I like the tension of Murdero and each hand can be quite different than the others.Highly recommended!

Bad Points: Here in the U.S. the game is hard to find. I bought it online from Thought Hammer and found out it was their last copy! It is still on backorder there and not many other vendors have it. Murdero is a game that merits more attention.

General comments: Find Murdero and buy it. It plays well with 2 or 4 people, and if you buy two copies you can play up to 8. Check the website for more information: www.murdero.com

D'Avekki Studios Murdero Card Game is a murder mystery card game. You have to build sets of cards in order to "solve" a murder. The cards you need for a set are crime scene, victim, evidence, suspect and weapon, and they come in three different colours, but there is only weapon per colour, so you're competing with the other players to get to the weapons. There are also action cards, which you can use to stop other players winning, and some of them help you win; for example, there's one that you ...
