The initial impression of this photography website is a good one. It has a thriving membership and a lot of helpful information. After some time here you start to see it as it is, a bit cliche. Whilst most members are very polite and helpful, a few are intolerant and often rude I find.

The admin and mods are prone to running this site with an "I'm in charge I can ban you" attitude which is fair enough, they can... but I often find my posts deleted without explanation as far as I am concerned, or worse, with a personal comment.

A "club for the boys (and girls)" best sums up this site for me. If you want serious chat about photography and affiliated software I suggest you look elsewhere, perhaps to sites like POTN.

In summary, a nice place to hang out but I soon got tired of people's ego's and bore of the oft repeated topics.
