    Good Points: No interest or charges if you pay the balance in full when you receive your statement - I thought!


    Bad Points: Statement didn't arrive. In actual fact the clever people at Warehouse entered my address details incorrectly onto their system (despite it written clearly on the credit agreement application) and sent my store card and statement to the wrong address!


    General comments: I received a phone call from Warehouse Store card stating my account was in arrears. I explained that I was still awaiting my first statement (it had been 5 weeks since I had signed the agreement in the store so presumed statement would be on it's way any time soon). I was then advised that two statements had been sent out in that time. On checking my details it appeared that there had been a data inputting error and everything had been sent to the wrong address. However, I was advised I was still in default and would have to pay the interest and charges. I then explained that I only agreed to sign up for the card on the basis that if I paid the full balance in one go I wouldn't have interest or charges applied and, as it was their fault I didn't receive notice of the balance due date, I shouldn't have to pay any extra. They then waived the charge but only as a 'good will gesture' but still applied the interest. I have paid this but think it is completely unfair. I have cancelled my account and put a complaint in writing requesting the extra amount be refunded.
    Anyone thinking of taking out a storecard with Warehouse be careful! They clearly aren't looking after personal information or at least entering data with due care! Hopefully I wont fall victim to fraud as a result of their negligence. No apology was forthcoming either!!

    With the Warehouse Store card you may lose out on money if you are a frequent shopper - you can use the card for the payment and then pay it of literally seconds later - but still get your points!!! Its fantastic!!
