I have owned my Webley Premier for well over forty years,( I am now in my 70th year) never any trouble apart from new springs barrel and retaining catch over the years a pleasure to use. I still use it every week and Oh! as a side thought I served 22 years in the army and found using the Webley good practise for useing the Browning automatic. No better air pistol around.- Read Guest's review (71 words)

Aw, what can I say... Love it, had an air rifle as a kid in the eighties, never a pistol (over carefull mother!) Been a professonal soldier for 19 years now, used sigs, brownings, you name it. Never enough ammo or time on the range for me. But last year found a .22 tempest on a wander around a new town, and oh, what fun! This has lead me to find a mint B ser .22 Webley Premier.....Made BETTER than most modern firearms! and what a joy to shoot with! Love it, plink away all the time now, in the g ...- Read Plinkingbruce's review (170 words)

The Webley Premier .22 is an excellent little pistol - I bought one in the early seventies and still have it in bits in the original box in the shed - may have a go at reassembling it!
Spent many happy hours shooting flies on my uncle's farm, and rats in the pig-food preparation area - they used to get behind the boiler and you could not get an air rifle to point down there.- Read ShaleBreeze's review (78 words)

Purchased brand new for me, by my Father in the late 60's, for around twelve pounds, as I recall. In .22 calibre, never experienced a .177 so can't pass judgement there, perhaps the higher velocity of the .177 may have made hitting the further targets more straightforward. Never a problem though, I fired so many pellets through the gun I had most targets out to 30 yards sorted.
Accounted for all sorts with this pistol, including more starlings than I care to remember over ten years or so.

I wish they still made them i would buy a new one tomorrow. I have just aquired a webley premier complete with .22 &.177 barrels serial number 127 a bit scruffy but after a bit of tlc and some gun oil i am well impressed it feels as sharp as any good air pistol.
The only problem is that its almost impossible to find spares for the Webley Premier .22 air pistol- Read paul hemingway's review (68 words)

A classic which reached its pinnacle with the late-'60s models. Solid forged steel construction. Excellent balance. Powerful for an airpistol and accurate by any standards. The best.- Read Aface's review (72 words)

Bought nearly new in 1969, with a low 600's serial number. Still in that excellent condition; fitted with new piston when purchased. Should have bought a spare .22 barrel is my only regret. Not likely to ever sell it. Have purchased a Tempest before Webley fell over, but it doesn't have that indefinable 'gun' feel of the Premier.- Read Uncle Bill's review (110 words)

I know it's no longer made but I had to review this gun. It was my first real air gun made with gun steel a large step up from the Daisy's and cheap air guns that we had in the USA. I'll never forget that for years reading the gun catalogs and wishing I could find a Webley and other well made guns, but here in America they were unavailable. I found one about 30 years ago in a tiny sports shop and I jumped at it. To this day it's my favorite and now that class air guns are as popular here as in E ...- Read DRESSBLUES's review (179 words)

Superb air pistol, just one of the long line of Webley successes now sadly superceeded by upstart imported products of style over substance in plastic.
Rant over.- Read cptman's review (38 words)
