    Good Points: Lovely dogs.

Bad Points: No good for lazy people, as they are very active, and love to do things, not a house dog.

General comments: Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are wonderful family members. They are a bit choosy and opinionated, picking a family member as their very own. They are attentive watch dogs, often having the sense to know when you feel threatened and when you don't. Smart, kind, no aggression,.If you are active, intelligent person, love the water, then this is the dog for you.
